Post op day 7 at doctors office

The Surgeon reassured all is well.
Normal for J-Plasma helium to feel crackling/squishing and disperse in upper body-final contracting around neck/jawline over next two months. Skin already looks thicker and smooth.
Normal for chin implant to hurt at the insertion site-Says the body will form a permanent protective capsule around it over the next two weeks. Swelling and aching are minor.
The blue sutures were removed from under chin and behind ears.
Remaining bruising on chin can be covered with makeup. I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow.
I hope this helps others to make a decision. The traditional surgical neck/lower face lift would have cost a bit more, about same amount of downtime, pain, bruising etc. Probably less stress since it is not a new procedure. The chin implant is a big improvement-suffering and cost worth it.

Update day6

Mild aching and swelling around neck and jaw, subcutaneous J-plasma layer can be felt when touching skin around jawline(crackling-sensation). One very painful area right side of chin where the implant is attached. numbness gone, small area bruising at chin implant attachment sites still purple. I am concerned about the implant attachment site pain/small swollen knot- that seems worse after laying down. I am still wearing head compression at home and applying ice to sore area.
I had a routine mammogram this morning. I was called to come back due to a small pocket of substance was viewed in one breast. After I explained the J-plasma, the doctor there was not concerned. I will bring this up to my plastic surgeon tomorrow.

J-Plasma/Renuvion Necklift with Lipo, and Chin Implant.

Before the procedure my neck has a bit a fat under the chin, poorly defined jaw line, sagging excess skin, and folds. Genetically I have a very thick neck and small chin.
The actual procedure was uneventful. I left with a head/neck pressure garment. With light sedation and local anesthesia, I was unconscious the entire time. I night of the surgery was very painful and the prescription pain medication and small cold flexible icepacks in wet washcloths a must.
On day 3, there appears to be light bruising on entire neck and jawline. Pain has been constant- mild to moderate. The neck has tightened well, the jawline and lower face are still very sore, swollen, and I can feel a crackling sensation under the skin when touching the jaw area. I am very glad for the look of the chin implant, very little pain at this site-the area is numb, but now I can fully move my lower lip. I showered and had the compression off for a while. The neck is very sensitive to touching even the compression garment, starting to itch a bit.

I am hopeful to leave the house to take care of brief appointments in a few days. The follow up is not until 7days post op.
I will update you then.
