Early 30s BBL with Body Contouring with Elite Aftercare - Izmir, TR

I am in my early 30s and live alone and travel a lot with work. Therefore having any surgery, regardless of where, would be an issue as I would find it difficult looking after myself post op.

For this reason I was interested in going somewhere with aftercare. By no means am I knocking surgery in the UK - I have had cosmetic surgery done before in the UK - but for me this would involve travelling down to London, and once there would the need to try and find aftercare etc. I also wanted to choose a surgeon that had a lot of BBL experience, so was open to surgery abroad. Having worked and lived abroad myself this was not something I was daunted by as with anywhere, including the UK, you need to do your homework.

Eliteaftercare is a UK company offering surgery in Turkey, the guys who look after you are actually from London but are Turkish so there are no issues with language barrier. Either Daniel or James will stay with you in the hospital so there is always a friendly face and help/ assistance if required. I paid GBP 4,000 for the full body contouring package which includes unlimited liposuction areas, plus BBL. This also included all aftercare (pickup/ drop off from airport/ medication and garments/ blood tests/ aftercare and full board in the villa which included an en-suite bathroom).

Heres a quick summary of my journey:

Saturday: Picked up from airport and driven to villa - its approx 1.5hrs drive but goes quick as car has wifi and spent the time chatting.

Sunday: At 8.30 am we drove to the hospital (literally 5 minutes away) - met the surgeon and had bloods taken. Dr Uckan was lovely - very honest about what could be done. Approx one hour later went to surgery. I understand my surgery took about three hours as although I’m not big I was keen in having my body contoured as a priority over the BBL, and therefore Dr Uckan took fat from a number of areas. Once awake Dr Uckan came to see me showed me a picture of my results (you also get this emailed on the same day) and to discuss how much fat had been taken out/ transferred. I spent one night in hospital.

Monday: Slept till approx 8 am. Nurses changed some of my bandages and Dr Uckan came to see me to check up on how I was feeling etc. I was discharged at midday and driven back to the villa, where lunch was prepared for me and i went back to my room to relax as was quite tired and watched tv (the tv has uk channels so was a good chance to catch up/ also both the hospital and villa have wifi). Slept most of the day and woke up for eat then went back to bed.

Tuesday: Again, slept most of the day. Went back to the hospital for a check up with Dr Uckan who advised I was looking better then he expected. Was also given the opportunity to have either complimentary botox or fillers.

Wednesday: Was able to shower for the first time and change into a new compression garment. Relaxed for most of the day and was driven to the airport for my flight home.

To date the whole process has gone much better than I could have imaged. I would also say that because the guys are actually from the UK you don’t really feel like you are going for surgery abroad. Dr Uckan is also easily one of the best cosmetic surgeons I have come across. The aftercare is also second to none and made the process of having the surgery so much manageable from my side. I can not recommend Elite aftercare or Dr Uckan enough.
