Much Needed Dental Work - Turkey

I really wanted something done about my teeth for...
I really wanted something done about my teeth for some time but the cost of even one crown is incredibly expensive in the UK if it is done privately and as I live in Jersey all dentistry is private. I researched the net and I went to Turkey to have the work done and I am pleased with results and indeed the cost which is less than a third I would have paid in Jersey. The dentists practice was immaculate and indeed the equipment was better that my regular dentist in Jersey - all I have to do now is explained to him what I had it done abroad. The bottom line is cost and the internet has been a boon to us as consumers as we now know what savings can be made on everything.

Fantastic results!!!! Really nice! I'm no dentist so I'm just shooting in the dark, but are you a night-time tooth grinder? I only ask because it looked like your natural teeth were ground down and cracked in a couple of places. Nighttime grinding is one of the things that can make veneers break, so if you do nighttime grind, then you will want a bite splint or some sort of night guard from your doctor to protect your not inconsiderable investment!

You are quite right about the grinding as the dentist pointed it our and she said I may need a nighttime mouth guard. I am 55 though so year for year that is acceptable.
I had 29 teeth done so the VFM is unbelievable
WOW, 29 teeth! That is the most I've ever heard. Then the price is phenomenal! I'd thought you'd maybe done 8 on top and a few on the bottom. That is just fantastic!
But 55 is young! You could easily live another thirty years, and maybe much longer! Would a bite splint be too expensive? I have no idea how much they cost. My main concern is that if you crack off a veneer, because they've had to prep the tooth in order to put the veneer on, it may be very painful, because they've taken off the enamel and your pulp will be exposed. So even if it's a hidden tooth, it may impair your ability to eat comfortably, and then you won't feel well, even if you still look great. Did she quote you a price? I wonder if the place you got all of this done in Turkey could even sell you one if it's too expensive in the UK?

The impressions have been kept in Turkey and as each tooth cost £250 it would be cheaper for me just to go back to get a replacement. I am investigating mouth guards to keep them pristine.
The costs are incredible titanium dental implants and crowns are only £550 a tooth!
Is that an implant plus a crown that's 550??? That's like the cost of a crown here in the US, without the implant.

I'm glad to hear you're investigating mouth guards! I looked up occlusal splints on the internet and I saw prices ranging from $10 (for cheap ones you buy at the druggists) to $400-$600 for custom ones. So it's possible you could get even a good one for less than the cost of fixing a single tooth, certainly including travel. I wonder if the NHS will help pay? Certainly it's a serious health concern!

So for the everything it only cost you 11,000.00 us currency? That was the total cost of everything after 29 teeth? How many days did it take?
Did I answer you it was Revitalize in Turkey and it cost GBP7,000 so use the current exchange rate - teeth have now settled I and no pain at all Take care Adrian

Hi...your veneers look amazing! I am looking to get this procedure done and I have been to a couple consultations n got an average of the cost. After seeing your great results and the price you paid blew my mind!
