Hey, thank you to share your experience, I am going to have the same procedure tomorrow and I am very stress. More because I did not say it to anyone not even to my boyfriend so I am going to hide for the next 10 days! Lol
Can you please let me know if it is easy to hide
And if you already went back to work?
Many thanks for your reply
Hi I did not tell anyone either so I know how you feel, I had bangs cut to hide the area for the flight home, or get a hat ... The hospital told me to leave the area free and fly home but I couldn't go home like that as my area was very bloody.. I just wore my bangs over the area & it was fine , you will be fine, make sure to have pain medication for the first night, they did not give me any & my head was throbbing & they had to call to my hotel with some tablets I took them & it was fine then.. I slept elevated for first week.. I got a lot of swelling on day two around my eyes this is normal but does not look cute!! Let me know how you go.. I will be thinking of you x
Dear miniclair,

How long did the swelling last? What did you do for it to go away faster? thanks

Fabrice
Hi day 2 I swelled around my eyes & nose, I took arnica & drank lots of water by day 4 all swelling was gone also I slept elevated for 7 nights after procedure
thanks a lot
sorry one mlast question, ...when you say that you took arnica, ....how did you take it? ...oil? cream? thansk
You could also ice the swelling, same as with a facelift, to help reduce swelling. I used a bag of frozen peas wrapped with a clean cloth. Sleep on your back with your head elevated on several pillows and take arnica before and after.
How many grafts cause am considering to lower by exactly 2 cm like yourself , thanks
I got in region of 2000 grafts but everyone is individual I have very thick hair
Hope you are healing well and are still happy with your result.
You sent me a private message but I'm unable to even open it. It just says this person is unable to receive private messages. Best wishes Mini x
Hi I tried to private message you back but saying you can't accept private messages X

Hi I always thought my forehead was too large for my small features inherited my dads forehead shape!
I did not want to do the forehead reduction surgery decided I would go to turkey for hair transplant as seen good reviews, I will keep posting my progress as months go,if you are doing hair transplant be prepared for the following, slight pain as they inject the anesticia into your scalp, they shave the donor area then start to put follicles to fill the decided area on forehead, my forehead was reduced from 7cms to 5cms & they added hair to sides to reduce width , there will be some bleeding & later that night my head was throbbing & in pain so arrange to have some pain medication with you, you won't sleep much first night as you need to sleep elevated to reduce swelling, I returned home the day after surgery & was so glad I did as day two I woke & had a lot of swelling around eyes!! I drank lots of water & took arnica next day it had gone down, it's is now day 5 post opp & I have been taking it easy as tired & slightly sore on donor area... I will post my progress over next 12 months just want to fast forward but with hair transplant patience is key!! I have no hair loss & good thick hair so I am hopefull of a good result

Welcome to the community, I am so excited to see your results and I look forward to your updates. How many grafts did you have?

Thank you Eva, I did not ask about grafts, once they had drawn in the new hairline i let them at it! 6 days post opp & I am back at work & wearing bangs to hide the area, still have dried blood in area but each day this is slowly clearing up, excited for future baby hair to appear
Can you please tell us where in Turkey you did your transplantation.
Did you have your procedure done at Mediprima esthetica istanbul ? What was the cost per graph? Would you recommend this clinic to others?
Yes I had my procedure there, all good so far, but it's only been 3 weeks so too early to tell about results, I paid €1700.i got in region of 2000 grafts.. Do your research & pick the right clinic for your needs.
Hi, i am interested to know if the procedure worked and if you're happy with it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
The result looks really good and much cheaper than in the UK. Many thanks for your tips.
