1 year anniversary of 2nd FUE

WORTH IT$2,500
Hello Everyone! Today marks my 12 month anniversary of my 2nd FUE with this clinic. I originally walked into this clinic in Nov 2014 and received 4,750 grafts. Majority were placed in the middle and front of my head. The few remaining went to my crown. I knew I needed a second FUE, so at 9 months, Sept 2015, I came back to this clinic and received 2,150 grafts to complete my look. Here are my result to date.

Looking pretty good man, congrats.

I saw the pics from your donor area and to me it looks just fine, did you notice any remarkable difference or issue with that area?

I had FUE in May 2015, 3,000 graphs in Mexico, and really thinking about a 2nd procedure but not sure how much more they can get.

Finally, are you taking any finasteride?
Congrats on your HT Anniversary. You look like a new man! I'm hoping I have sufficient donor to hit my crown around the 12 month mark. You may have posted this, but what was your NW grade and do you have any good pics showing the donor area?
Just reviewed the pics. You must have had good donor to grab 6,900 grafts. What razor guard do you use for hair cuts?
I was told it was leaning towards a NW6
I finally found the best haircut for my donor area. I get a med 2 faded to a low 1. Before, I was getting a high 2 faded to a low 1.
Are you using Finasteride at all?
I haven't used anything.
The results are excellent! Are you pleased with it or do you plan on doing another HT in the near future? The cost of your HT includes accommodations minus the flight?
Also, one last question... Did the doctor gather the necessary grafts and the nurses planted them?
I am pleased with the results. For now, I do not see a reason to return for a third FUE. The cost included procedure, hotel and transport. Flight and food will come out of pocket
Thanks for the prompt response! Again, great results and thanks for keeping us posted.
Dr Maral creates the plan, and supervised. The techs do all the work. Honestly, this is the only real way to keep the cost down. With the amount of people coming into the clinic there is no way the doctor can be hands on with everything. These techs are well trained and have been with him for 10 years. As you see the results are great.
This makes perfect sense. Thanks for clarifying this.
Sir your results give me hope!
This is the best results i have seen so far in the forum. Congrats !

2nd FUE 10 Month update

Hello everyone! This will be my 10 month update of my 2nd FUE. Honestly, at this time I do not see much of a difference. This is probably of how short I cut my hair. I will try growing my hair out longer for a different look soon.

I assume you don't notice the crown as much since it's not in front of you all the time. I bet if you let it grow for 6-7 weeks and then just trim it instead of cutting it short the difference at 12 months will be very noticeable. Thanks for the update. I think the progress is noticeable. It will be nice to see it at 12 months.
I'm going to try and let it grow out over the next two months to see. I'll update you then.
I'd agree with Cali .

Your hair looks good short , but you'd also suit it longer , so will be interesting to see .
I have always liked my hair short, but will show it out over the next two months to see how it looks.
I get a #2 on the sides and back with a low fade it but I let the top get pretty long. About 3 inches on top. Maybe try that.
I was a NW5/6 before FUE . Therefore, a larger area had to be covered. Though the top of my head is covered, it yields a thin look. If I grow it longer, I fear I'll have this old man comb over. This is why I usually wear my hair shorter. The top of my head is about 1.5 inches long. I will try growing it longer to see how it will look.
SJ14, I reviewed the older pics and your transformation is amazing, one of the best I've seen on RS. This probably would not have been technically possible years ago. Congrats
I'm glad it was possible at this day and age. Who knows, there may be a cure somewhere down the line.
Hello, thank you for all of your posts! What were the US Doctors you were considering? You seem to be very knowledgeable and mentioned you were looking at US doctors as well.
Originally, I was considering a clinic in MN. I believe both doctors were brothers. But, the cost would has been the same fully loaded mid size sedan. I pretty much gave up, until I learned about cheaper options in Turkey.
It looks fine. Very natural. Still a couple of months growth at least to go. Certainly another 1000-1500 would make it even better but it's ok as it is.
I'm sure I could do that many grafts, but I like my hair short on the sides.
Fantastic result...completely natural looking!! I had several "old school" transplants approx 25 yrs ago. I suppose somewhat miraculously, I ended up w/ a very natural looking outcome - but paid several times over what you've paid - even back then!! I sure wish these offshore clinics had been a known option back then!! I've toyed w/ the idea of densifying my hairline a bit more - I would certainly go this route if/when I take the plunge.

Super results -- be very proud!
Trust me, I am a lot happier now and very confident compared to two years ago :)
I can imagine how much better you feel ! Hair looking very good !
I can actually go outside without worrying about wearing a hat all the time.
That is totally how I feel: no need to worry about wind or rain elements. No more crown sunburns. And of course swimming!
A bald head wasn't the bad part about swimming. It was the hairy back. Lol

That's so great to hear!!

Looks very good. Great transformation!
.....Looking great, thanks for updates..... All the best.
Looks good, and 6,900 grafts is quite a lot. Were you considering another procedure, and did the doctor say if you would have sufficient donor to go again? Also, do you have updated pics showing donor and transplant areas?
I don't think I will be doing another procedure. The doc said I will have another 1500 later on f I decided for another. My updated pics from a couple of weeks ago shows my donor area.
I went back and looked at your 10 month pics from session 1. It looks like your hair was getting pretty thick right before session 2. With the added grafts, you're going to be swimming in new growth over the next few months. Congrats, and well done.
