Has anyone on here traveled to Turkey (or another country where English isn't the first language) to get surgery? I really want to get my nose done by the Dr. in the picture I added, but I'm nervous about going there alone and not knowing their language.
(I live in Chicago, IL btw. US)

If you've traveled to a country where a lot of people don't speak English, how did you get transportation to/from appointments? Did you have to convert your money there to their kind of money, or? Any other advice is appreciated, please. :)
Also if anyone is looking to travel to Istanbul, maybe we can go together?

I traveled to Milan for a revision with Professor Palma and I barely understand a word of Italian. :) He's fluent in English so that part was sorted. As for other issues, I would take enough local currency for some essentials and transport. I wouldn't carry large amounts of cash though.

I used taxis to get back and forth. I had print offs and screenshots of the hotel/clinic names plus routes to show the drivers. I'd advise scoping out accommodation either with room service or family run with friendly staff who will help you to order food in if you don't feel like going out. In my case, I did go out (cast on and all) as my surgery was endonasal and the recovery wasn't rough at all but being in a safe environment with people watching out for me was helpful.
Hi did you go to Istanbul. ..what did you think if you did go ?
Hi, I haven't gone yet. :( but I'll be going in a couple months & I'll definitely update my review then. :)
Look forward to reading all about it...Is it a revision or first time ?
It's my second rhinoplasty, so a revision. :)
Thankyou..look forward to reading about it.
