WORTH IT
I had always wanted to reshape my nose since I was 19 years old. And after several years I decided to undergo a surgery in the capital of rhinoplasty - Istanbul. I didn't wanted to do a rhinoplasty in Sweden because they only have a few patients per year, small experience and I wanted to choose the best rhinoplasty surgeon in Istanbul. I didn't like the look of my nose. I had kind of a dip, small bump and it was a bit crooked. I wanted to reduce my nose tip and refine my nose. I started to research and read a lot on the Internet. I emailed many clinics in Istanbul. I searched on social media as well. The most important thing was that my doctor could make unique noses, not one nose that fits all. I received many pictures from many clinics, but didn't like none of them. So I found Op. Dr Emre Ilhan and I loved every single nose he had made. I fell in love with his work and all of his patients were satisfied. You can find him on Facebook and Instagram. He was the only surgeon that appealed to me and I am very happy I choose him. He had many excellent reviews. Before my arrival, I knew that a highly professional team would take good care of me. Op. Dr. Emre Ilhan isn't using any conventional methods. He is using a new technique called ultrasonic where he is cutting the bone. The skin on bones, blood vessels and cartilage tissue adjacent to bones aren't damaged during the surgery. It cause minimal or no bruising and swelling.

I really love my nose. Its getting better day by day. Its still swollen, which is usual, but will subside. Op. Dr. Emre Ilhan did a really great job.
There were no online simulation. There were 3 consultations before the surgery. You have to be in Istanbul for 2 weeks. You can express your ideas on the first consultation. You will meet his surgical nurse on the second consultation and receive information about the surgery and post operative instructions. On the third consultation, Dr Emre Ilhan will take pictures of you and make the simulation and there will be further discussion about the nose you desire before the surgery.

Yes he do. Thete were no language barriers. I paid 10 000 Turkish liras, about €3000. It was definitely worth every lira.

Did you go to Istanbul 2 times ? I have emailed with the office, and they want me to come 1 time for a first consultation, and later on for the Surgery. Did you do the same?

No I didnt go to Istanbul twice. I hade to be there for 2 weeks. A couple of days before the surgery for consultation, and then 10 days after surgery.

Hi! My surgery with Emre is in January and I was just wondering if you pay for the surgery in cash? If so, how? Like did you go to the bank in your homecountry or to the bank in Istanbul? It's just a lot of money to be walking around with

Hi! And thank you! Its getting better day by day. I will update with some pics soon. Yes I paid in cash on the second consultation. I ordered travel money online in Sweden. But only half of it as the exchange rate was a bit expensive. I transfered money to my mothers bank account as well to be sure that I could get the money from a HSBC atm. You will have to carry all those money until your second consultation.

amazing!! Thanks for sharing.. your nose looks great!!! :) I got rhinoplasty in Toronto, Canada but hate my nose and require a revision. I will definitely contact this doctor. Did you feel safe traveling to another country for the procedure? Also did the cost of the procedure include your stay or was that a separate fee?

Thanks! I did feel safe when I traveled to Turkey for this procedure. Many of Dr. Emre's patients are from abroad. No, it wasnt included. They do offer their patients accomodation with kitchen, loundry, mall, fitness and spa near their office. However, I booked a room at a hotel.
You will be in good hands and Dr. Emre will do his best to give you the nose you desire and a nose that will fit your face. You wont be disappointed. I had the surgery in June 2016 and I am more than satisfied!
