I tried to stay up to date on realself but since it didn't let me upload any of the videos I had made for realself only the frustration of having the same issue every time trying on different devices, made me lose interest in using this blog. Life happened and I forgot about all those videos I had recorded during that first week.
I am still satisfied with the way my nose looks it has been a little over 4 and a half months. I would say 90% of my swelling went down within the first 6 weeks.I'm surprised at how fast it seemed to have healed. I feel great I am definitely more confident now as opposed to how I used to look at myself in the mirror 6 months ago. It feels amazing to not be self conscious all the time about what my face looks like because of my nose. I did notice a difference in the size of my nostrils, as it is a common post-op issue that happens with rhinoplasty I went in never expecting them to be symmetrical. It's harder to notice in person as it is on picture but I didn't notice my nostrils were that same shape of uneven prior to my surgery. You will notice yourself being a lot more observant which makes you notice things that weren't there before. It doesn't bother me though.
These are the links to the 2 videos that are currently available on youtube for viewing. There should be a series of 5 in total and depending on how many questions I get I will make a Q&A video as well. Please send me any questions you may have
so I can save them for the Q&A

1 happy patient
Haven't felt any different from my last update, my nose gets stuffy sometimes but 95% of the day I breathe through it fine. It's usually when I just wake up and then I do the sinus rinse and I'm good for the day. As I might have mentioned earlier I won't upload the YouTube videos until I've passed my 1 month mark. I'm still doing the massages the doctor recommended me to 2-3 times a day with tea tree oil and lavender oil. The tip is still swollen but I definitely wouldn't mind it staying this way. He gave me the ok to lay down since the cast removal and I haven't experienced any extra swelling because of it which is great!
I still would recommend this doctor to anyone.
If anyone ready to schedule their surgery with him send me a private message and I'll be able to get you a discount.

Cast off. Tape on
Finally got my cast removed and the outer stitches. My left side is more swollen than the right side. Still loving my results so far. I had alot of people ask me what happened to my nose walking around yesterday. It's kind of funny how they thought this new nose was how my nose was and I just hurt it which is what the tape was for. With they I mean the salesmen (and strangers) all over Istanbul. I was surprised that most seeing me for the first time didn't realize I just had rhinoplasty like 5 days prior. I can definitely see it. I can't not see the difference. The skin all over my nose is numb but when putting a little pressure on it I can definitely feel it. I am in no pain. I was out all day yesterday flew back today and was out all day today. I was told to use my Saline spray for about 2 months but this spray is almost finished so I'll have to buy a new one. I tape my glasses on my forehead when in the house but wear contacts outdoors. I went out shopping right after my appointment and didn't take these pictures until after 1am when I got back to my hotel room (some shops are open til after midnight). I'm loving my right profile more for now but hoping it'll even out a little more. If it doesn't so be it for me personally I love this nose 10 times more than my previous nose so I'm already beyond grateful for this life-changing experience.
Peace and patience to all.
