Background:
I had my first rhinoplasty done at age 19 with a general plastic surgeon in Manchester - the result was not good.
Problems:
Asymmetrical tip
Hanging Columella
Crooked nasal bone
Dorsum collapsed on left side.
50% reduced breathing on left nostril
I've lived with the results for 10 years, but now it's time to fix it.
This time I want surgery with a nose specialist, someone who does a lot of revisions.
From my research, I have found that Istanbul has far more nose specialists than any other city.
So competition is high, and the results are often quite excellent.
The doctor whose work I like best is Dr Bahadir Baykal (he posts his results every day on Instagram to the account 'drbahadirbaykal').
Positives:
-He does natural noses, not pixie shaped ones.
-He is capable of creating masculine noses.
-Specialises in revision, does 100-150 per year.
-He's an ENT, so capable of correcting my breathing problem.
-Published a number of scientific journals on rhinoplasty, including one on his new technique for correcting crooked noses.
-Has a lot of international patients (Germany, Holland, Saudi, France)
Negatives:
-I haven't seen any reviews from patients of his anywhere.
-Is more expensive than other Turkish doctors
-Prefers to use rib grafts

I have sent him my photos and had an online consultation - but I haven't booked it yet.
If anyone out there has any experience with this doctor, could you please share your experience with me.
Otherwise, any comments regarding what type of surgery/grafts it would take to fix my nose would be helpful!

The only wi would say is I went for a primary procedure with a surgeon with good reviews- in retrospect the reviews were all a bit similar in their wording- Ian now very suspicious of reviews- There seem to be some good surgeons with little or no reviews

Thank you for the info. I think I have thin or normal skin so he could be an option. I am still researching other surgeons too, maybe Sultan Hassan (UK). I have also looked into Emre Ilhan, but I don't think he will operate on me since it will be my 3rd revision. Lucian Ion will not take in any new revision cases for now so if you discover more options please let me know!

What about selcuk inanli? I have seen some impressive revision cases.. I am really rhinking of going to him!!
Sultan Hassan is amazing, i had a revision with him. He will give you the perfect nose.

Have you looked into Muhammet Dilber also?
Muhammet Dilber is excellent at one type of nose. If you have thin skin and want a feminine result, he can do it.
But he doesnt take patients with normal-to-thick skin.
