Hey everyone! I'm 22 yo male. I was sick and tired of waxing and tweezing my beard. I live in Istanbul but my family is from Balkans. I'm the only werewolf in my family. My beard was like Wolverine's (Sides aren't connected to mustache) anyways. My beard line was getting out of its way and trying to reach my cheekbones. I have OCD along with some other mental illnesses so spending my time in mirror just to get a nice looking beard line seemed pretty unfair to me. I made a decision before 5 months ago and started doing LHR

I was already aware of guys who have beards with very short lines. Ralph Fiennes for example. I'll show how my beard used to look like (Cillian Murphy's photo) and how it does now :/ I specified it to laser technician and she drew a line before very 1st session. It seemed like a good idea back then but it definitely wasn't... even when I go against the grass you can still see my beard easily. I was like. I'd just shave the sides and grow a goatee

Now let me tell you what I've got! Cynosure's Apogee was used on my face. Alexandrite. Those 10-20 thin hairs below my cheekbones are still there (some got thicker) and my beard line is very short it looks so ridiculous and unnatural to me. I'm about to go crazy. I was gonna get sides/cheeks lasered and I talked to 2 different technicians and they both said I shouldn't go for it. I should keep shaving that area with straight razor so it can speed up the process and wait for a while (I think 2 months would be enough to see how bad I messed with it) guess some people just don't know what would look natural and what wouldn't. Now if you're about to go for LHR on beard. Just try to keep it normal so you won't regret the decision you've made

It's been 5 days since last touch up. I see so many dots on my left cheek but very few on right. Idk how I'll end up like after 2,5 months from now on. I'll keep updating (First 14 days will be a waste because of shedding process)

I've reading this for a while. Laughing and getting mad at myself. I have no luck. I think this is what will happen to me if I go for sides

Apart from very much preferring Cynosure's Vectus for hair reduction, it is unclear just how many treatments you had and how far apart? One would need this minimum information in order to provide some form of an informed intelligent response.

Should you elect to have another treatment, as you indicate, I recommend that you seek out a provider with a genuine Vectus unit. The results are sure to be far better.
You should anticipate you will need a minimum of 4 treatments and up to 6. Average time between treatments is 5 - 7 weeks.

Get out of the range with your treatments and you may as well start over again. Hair grows in cycles. 1/3 at any time is active, 1/3 is dormant. You can only kill that which is fully active. Get out of the cycle, you'll be doing touch ups for a long time.

Use a Vectus, follow the proper protocol and you can anticipate you will receive superior results. Wishing you all the best.

Warmly,

I've had 5 tx in total and 2 touch ups because she was using the machine at low settings due to summer heat. I think only 2 times she used it at high settings. Every 4 weeks btw. I'm not satisfied and knowing how it feels like hmm I'm not sure if I'll continue. Seeing my face getting hairy again after a few months of perfectly smooth state was really depressing

I am experiencing the SAME thing you are! Got LHR done 4 weeks ago exactly and my cheekline is low (doesn't look natural). I also got my neck done too but the regrowth is patchy and it also doesn't look natural. I'm upset at myself for doing this but I am hoping it will mostly all come back soon. I stopped the treatment and do not plan on doing anymore. You posted 5 months ago about this. How has your regrowth been?

Hey. First it wasn’t our mistake. It was just technicians who thinks that kind of beard would look good... and didn’t warn us, in my case she was the one who played with my mind. I said this in the last post of this review but let me make it clear again. Please read the last post of this review. Rn I’m updating it

Waiting to see some progress

I'm just waiting and spending my days without thinking about it. My hair is pretty damn short and it will grow unlike my beard. At least much faster than it. That's a consolation for me ahahaa and it doesn't look really bad when my hair is long. Anyway aa I hope most will come back. I think my beard is very hard to eliminate but we'll see that. I'm waiting for those who survived the process

It's been almost 2 months since my last tx

Hey everyone. 5 tx in total and 2 touch ups. Maybe it's because each session was on low settings but %70 of the missing part of my beard has come back. Left side isn't patchy at all. Right side looks okay but I don't see much hair near my mustache. I hope in time they'll come back too

bad news is they're all damn thin and I have no idea how long will it take for them to mature :/
That's why I'm in a conflict. I'll try not to laser sides of my beard completely and most of my neck. I have an appointment next Wednesday. I'll decide what to do with doctor. In here no one is willing to laser your beard. I've found only one clinic that perform laser on beard and nurse told me peope mostly end up patchy even if they stay smooth. She wanted to say ''you'll be smooth as long as you keep coming''... and they have well known lasers like Lightsheer Duet etc. I don't know what to do. Wish somebody could tell me when I will see all those thin hairs mature and blend in :/
