So, here’s a late 6 month review. Sorry for the lack of updates but I’ve been super busy with work.
As you can see by the pictures, the procedure worked and I’m so happy with it. The density of it could be a bit better but I get that I won’t have the same hair density as I once had.
The donner area is completely healed and not patchy at all.
Also, I went to a Trichologists (a doctor specialized in hair) and she said that the progress in going really well and even complemented the surgeon’s work by saying that the procedure looks really natural.
I’m still on 5.000 mcg of Biotin. Since the six month mark, I started using conditioner in my hair (I felt it was bit too dry). Dr. Cinik said I had to use the neutral shampoo up to the sixth month and after that I could switch to my regular care routine.
I’m also going to start using Minoxidil next month! Hope to have more growth with it!
Honestly, I’ve never been so happy with my hair. Ever since the 4th month mark, taking a picture with the fear of looking bald is not a problem anymore!

4 months and 10 days update
Here's a 4th month update!
Things are going as Dr. Cinik predicted and it's quite amazing how much growth it happens at the 4th month.
As you can see, now I have a "normal" hair cut. Very happy with the results and looking forward for what's to come next!
The light in the pictures is a bit bright but it's quite sunny here in Rio today.
Still on 5.000 mcg of Biotin and multivitamin complex.

Looking good for four months. I am thinking of doing Dr. Cinik myself. Do you recommend doing the DHI method? I think its the best way right now. Also how do you think your donor area is right now?
Hey moejoe24! Thank you! Honestly I was getting a bit scared on the 3rd month (since I could see the progress yet it wasn't as expressive) but the main thing with this procedure is to have patience.
Dr. Cinik is great. I highly recommend it. One thing I didn't mention in my post Is that every month his office txt me asking for pictures for a follow up.
Honestly I liked the DHI method since the healing was much faster. Two days after my implant the scabs were dry and I had no swelling. Plus, from what I read (and can attest on my hair line) it allows better density.
I'll try to upload a picture of my donor area. It looks ok. My hair is quite thin so I knew it wouldn't be the same but no one ever notices anything and it doesn't look over harvested.
I'm quite happy with the overall progress!
