Currently going through shock loss. Lost around 40/45% I'd say so far.

thanks for posting your review. I’m just about to book my hair transplant with dr cinik at the end of this month. I’m only going to be there for the 2 nights as I need to get it done and get back for work. I’m a builder do you think i will be ok to get straight back to work 2 days after having it done? thanks.
Hi mate, i think you'll be fine going back to work, i had my HT done on the 2nd jan and went back to work on the 5th jan the day after returning to the UK. You say your a builder, let dr Cinik know as I've read on dr answers that you should avoid wearing a hard hat for some time after a HT but thats something a dr can only advise. Best of luck.
Hi , I was just racing though this post and your question about going back to work after 2days is no way possible , especial Amy Manual labour , do your self a favour and book at least a week off. Your only be risking losing the grafts after going through the hassle of getting it done .
I'd say yeah a week minimum but two weeks because you need to make sure the grafts are firmly in place, and also the donor area has healed

ok thanks for the reply. I don’t have to wear hard hats but I was hoping I could just wear a baseball cap just to keep it covered in the day time. have you found your self wearing a hat a lot? I’m concerned about the flight home really feeling a bit uncomfortable with people staring and giving weird looks. also how did you find the whole procedure pain wise? thanks.
thanks for the update!
I’m a builder too had a HT and had two weeks off, I was feeling to weak to get straight back into it, I had 5700 grafts with a combination of head and chest donors, plus itching and dust from work don’t mix, take a couple of weeks off just to let the new implants heal
Hi guys, how long do you wreckon after fue before you could do combat sports like mma and stuff. I was thinking of getting fue done then when able going to thailand for 2months and doin a training camp to avoid wearing a hard hat at work and getting over the ugly duckling phase
Hi I would avoid any combat sports for a least 4 weeks, as the donar area will still be sore red and itchy as mine is 4 weeks after fue and still itchy and red and when I wear a hat as it’s winter right now it gets more itchy and irritated, so you would have to be a very good MMA fighter to avoid getting hit on the head!!
Yeah true but even just training no contact pads an stuff i mean working out hard but not get hit lol
P.s are you going to take any medication for your native hair mate? Thanks for the feed back ol follow ur journey hopefully u get a great result

Day 14 pictures
Hi just a quick update. Theses pictures were taken after 14 days of HT. All the scabbing has gone and shock loss has started, I'd say half the hair or more has fallen.

Looks awesome! I have similar hair as you, how is the beard healing up? I'm thinking I would have to use that too, but I have to be clean shaven for my job. How would it look after a shave?
Thanks donger. Beards healing up good still abit red. But I've only shaved under the red bit, didnt want to mess with it. And i was told it can take upto 6 weeks for it to go back to its original state.
looking good mate , how many Grafts ? and will you have to go for a 2nd round ? thanks
Thanks mate. I had 3800 grafts implanted, more denser from the hairline onwards. I didnt have the best donor area so the hairline is quite high. But as long as you got a realistic end goal its great. And 2nd transplant, definitely got to get the crown area filled.
For the 2nd HT to cover the crown, where is your donor area? They have use up the scalp and beards donor area.Am curious.
well done mate , I had my hairline put in higher aswell to use the Grafts sparingly for the crown , at first I was a bit concerned but as it has grown out it looks great , check out my profile , did they say how many you have in reserve for the crown
