I suffered from loss of eyebrows and beard since i was younger. i always wanted to do the hair transplant but the price is way too high in Germany. i did some research on whatclinic and found Aestimed. i talked to Director Aytac, who is very helpful and friendly without any tricks or false promises. t
Therefore, I had my eyebrows and beard translplant at Aestimed in Istanbul. Mr. Aytac and his team took care of me very well from start till end.
the Opi wasn't painful, only the anesthesia part you need to have endure a little pain in the beginning. the Opi last 10 hours, the team was working hard on my face together. 5200 grafts were planted, 800 for the eyebrows and 4400 for the beard in order for the max. density. afterwards i was sent to the hotel for two nights included in the Opi price.
My experience:
1st night: hard to sleep cus i needed to keep my head up to avoid touching the grafts.
2nd day: a quick follow up at Aestimed, everything looked good.
day 3: started washing my face with the shampoo given by the clinic. gently tapping the area with cool water.
day 7-10: scabs almost fell off, hairs looked thick and strong. i like the shape.
up to day 30:
most of the beard and eyebrows fell off, i can see holes without anything inside on my face, hopefully its not a scar. i was a lil scared cus the falling hairs had a lil bulb attached to the end, wasn't sure if this is the grafts. Aestimed told me it's normal, grafts are locked in my face.
Redness can be seen mainly in my eyebrows. Hairs grew mostly back in the donor area, some parts still look thin tho. and scalp is very itchy still.
I'll wait for 3 months for the hairs to grow back and i'll update again to see the recovery and another evaluation will be given at that point.
In general, Aestimed is very caring, staff members were friendly to me. Mr. Aytac gave me a good feeling not just as a doctor but also a friend.
the core strength i like about Aestimed is the high density transplant. i did some research on other local clinics, they have rather low densities of transplant. so if my beard and eyebrows grow successfully back in three or four months. i should look pretty awesome and natural with the high density hairs.

Did they tell you how long it takes before you can go back to work, and people will not stare at your face?
Was this FUT or FUE?
