29 Years Old, FUE Procedure 3400 Grafts - Istanbul, TR

Hi guys, just thought I would document an unbiased and personal review of my experience with FUE hair transplant with Dr Maral in Instanbul, Turkey. I have gradually been going bald since my early to mid 20's and have tried things like minoxidil and concealer etc. I'm opposed to taking Finasteride due to the possible sexual side effects as my wife and I are planning on starting a family in the not too distant future.

The reason I decided to go ahead with this is a self-confidence one. I got sick and tired of being worried about my image and the way I was presenting myself. My mates and brothers certainly didn't help the cause and this is a last resort to try and improve my hair.

I would say I am a Norwood 4 with significant vertex loss

So I arrived in Istanbul and was collected by my driver at the airport. I'll just say that the the drivers and the hotel staff do an amazing job in co-ordinating everything and ensuring it all runs smoothly. I was taken to Levent Otel which was very clean and comfortable for the 3 night duration of my stay. Food was also great! The next day I was taken to the clinic where I met Dr Maral. He drew on a hairline and before I knew it my head was shaved and we were underway. Like most people, I would have liked my hairline a bit lower (1-2cm), however, I know you can only work with the precious number of grafts you've got. The procedure itself I wouldn't say was comfortable, especially the injections, however it's also not something that's overly painful. So after 3400 grafts here are my photos directly following the operation.
