I had a 4500 graft FUE transplant operation & PRP treatment at Clinicana in March 2016!
Before flying to Istanbul, the contact person at Clinicana has reviewed my pictures (of donor and scalp areas) and has given me positive feedback that the operation will be very successful and my scalp area will be fully covered.
I flied with a friend (who has transplanted 5500 grafts at Clinicana with me also) to Istanbul and they guys there did a check up on both of us and confirmed that the operation will be very successful.
On the next day, both of us have done the operation which was terrible! It took almost 7 hours and was very painful at the beginning - but the issue is after that, the pain was killing and we couldn't sleep for almost 4 days (because of the wounds on the donor area). We said ok, we can handle that as we need to get our scalp covered.
After 2 days from operation we had to go to the clinic again to remove the patches and apply a PRP treatment, but before that WE WERE OBLIGATED TO PUT A POSITIVE REVIEW ON THIS WEBSITE (the laptop was provided was a pre-written excellent review). We had to do that to continue our treatment!!!
After two weeks the transplanted hair started to grow (we were happy), but after three months, the hair started to fall again!! We have contacted Clinicana and the guys said, no problem just continue on the treatment and that's normal as the hair growth process will take up to one year.
We said ok let's be patient! After one year the results are:
1. only 10% of the transplanted hair is available, the rest ARE LOST!!!
2. The donor area (on the back) is partly empty as the grafts (hair) taken from it didn't grow again or regenerate itself!!!
We've contacted Clinicana (Mulham) and asked for a refund or to redo the operation again as stated in our guarantee certificate (provided from Clinicana), but we got a rejection stating that the donor area is currently not available due to a mistake in the operation and there WILL BE NO REFUND!
Frankly spoken, the guarantee certificate from Clinicana is like a toilet paper (you know what I mean)!
