I agree with 100%. From a distance it might not look fake. However, when you zoom in that hairline looks to straight and uniformed. This is not the first post of the Maral Clinic messing up someone's hair. It seems this doctor doesn't really care anymore and is just churning these out to make money. He can't even perform the surgery himself. I'm sorry you have had this experience. Thanks for for sharing your experience.
Thank you. It's a little disappointing to have so many people on this site trying to invalidate my story. I have no agenda other than share what happened to me. Sure, I'd like to vent some frustration too. I think this doctor and his were unprofessional. But having people on here accusing me of lying or telling me "it looks good to me bro" is annoying.

Thanks for your support.

For all others considering this doctor, by all means, do what you want. But honestly, your gambling with something that's hard to hide if things go wrong.
That suck man. I was very close to getting a transplant with this doctor. I am 28 and don't have much hair loss just some receding in my temples. Last minute got cold feet and decided it was too early for the procedure. I told Dr Maral that I was going to wait and possibly do it in 3-4 years (still using his clinic); he went on a tantrum telling me that my nationality was an issues and he wanted no more contact with Russian patients... very unprofessional.

Anyway, that was my little experience with him. I'm sorry you actually have to deal with the consequences. To be completely honest from those pictures it doesn't look horrible. Maybe grow your hair out longer and style it differently.

Best of luck!
Bravo89 your experience is proof enough that this doctor only cares about money. I recently backed out of having a transplant because I have Alopecia and this disorder attacks hair follicles. Therefore, my body would reject it. When I explained this to several clinics in Istanbul they were very kind and understanding. If a doctor starts insulting you, he is not looking at your best interests. Not to mention I have looked at many pictures of the Maral Clinic's work ( who knows if he did any of the work himself) and it all looks the same. Rounded hairlines. Not too many people I see have rounded hairlines.
These doctors know this is a rotten business. They will transplant anyone who walk in their door. If you have receding in your temples only don't start transplanting at the first sign on hair loss. Hair transplants are more successful when someone is almost all bald. Any growth is positive growth if placed correctly of course. What happens when you transplant in the temples then the hair behind it falls out? Are you prepared to try to recreate your whole head of hair if your hair keeps falling out. Are you going to be getting transplants when your 60? I made this very same mistake and it's been a complete nightmare for me for 10 years. I finally took it out after 3 transplants, probably 18,000 dollars, and I couldn't feel more free. I promise you this. After you create a big problem for yourself and live with it for years, you won't worry about hair loss every again in your life. It will be a big lesson for you. You won't have enough donor hair to recreate your head of hair. You'll be using body hair that looks like nut hair. Transplanted hair doesn't look or feel the same as your natural hair. Bravo89 wait until you go very bald or just be patient, don't start this nonsense now.
Guys who have had problems and understand them know what your going through. You see your hair everyday and you look directly at your problems cause you know they are there. And honestly man some people probably talk to you and don't even notice it, but I'm sure some do. At the end of the day it's just hair and really not a lot. This really isn't a big problem to fix. Do not over think this, it's very easily fixed! Yeah transplanting in the front is very hard to hide when it doesn't look good. That's why transplanting behind your natural stuff, in my mind, is a better option. There are doctors out there going so low on people's head to create the very aggressive hairlines and create a complete mess. You'll be fine npearson72. 200 hairs between you and happiness? Just take out the unnatural stuff. A good doctor can look and see what was transplanted and what was not. Just tell him take out the transplanted stuff. He'll know what to do.
npearson, sorry to hear about your experience. Are you able to post before, during and after pictures so potential clients can evaluate?
You get to choose what type of hairline you want. Most go with the rounded look.
Imagine you paid for your flight, showed up to the clinic and He was like "na, I'm not interested. I changed my mind. Later ".
To me this look like a bad haircut. Nothing wrong otherwise
The people invalidating your feelings about your experience most likely either work for this doctor or are ignorant. Your allowed to have your opinion and your review. That's what this site is for. If this was a good doctor/clinic, the doctor would be more hands on and perhaps thus wouldn't happen. Additionally he would attempt to reach out to you and fix the problem. The fact that he hasn't done anything proves that he doesn't care. Shameful!
If there were proper pictures showing how it has progressed just like how everybody else in this site uploads then yes we would believe him wholeheartedly
But the thing is there's nothing except some random pics
It is possible to soften your hairline. Find a reputable surgeon that will "drill" out hairs that are too low or too dense and move them to areas where they are needed. You should only have single hair grafts on the hairline.

I agree the hairline looks fake.
Looks good to me lol
Looks like doll hair in the front. A better pic would show you the hair poorly angled and unnatural looking. I can see it from this distance because I know what to look for. Behind this transplanted hair is very good natural looking hair. Take that crap out, go back to your natural stuff. I promise you feel so much better. You still have a lot of hair man, rock it while you can!
The placement of the hair and the angle has everything to do with the appearance of the hairline. Also there's no way to guarantee which hairs will grow or which hair won't grow. I've seen hairlines look splotchy and unnatural. You had so much hair they should have NEVER advised you for a surgery. They most certainly should have NEVER placed hair that "low" on your hairline. Supporting hair that low on your hairline will be a complete nightmare. You won't have enough donor hair to fill in the rest as it falls out. Take this stuff out. I made the same mistake you made 12 years ago and I had it all taken out and I feel so good about it I can't even tell you. Depending on your skin type you might not even have any scars once it heals. When they remove the hair it allows your current follicle scars to heal again. You can also laser or micro needle if the scars are visible. Have the unnatural stuff removed. DO NOT try to keep transplanting around it. That's what they want you to do. If later you want to transplant behind your natural hairline, well that's up to you. Make sure you go to a clinic that will angle the hairs with your current hair pattern. But be prepared to create another problem in the future when you do this stuff. I'm just allowing to let my hair fall out now and living with it.
How do you take it out? What is that procedure called?

Thank you
Well that's the tricky part. Because these doctors don't care about taking this stuff coming out and they don't want to promote this, but rather choose to transplant more hair they sometimes act like they don't do that. Now the misplaced hair could possibly be taken out and re-transplanted. I tried this the first time I was removing stuff and I really didn't see a positive outcome. The more you keep trying this trying that the more your disrupting your natural blood supply to your natural hair. You will lose more and more natural hair in the front the more surgeries you have, and make future surgeries less successful. I was in Thailand and contacted Absolute Hair Clinic in Bangkok, Thailand. He charged me about 70 dollars to take all this stuff out. I cut the hair I wanted removed shorter than the hair I wanted to keep so there wasn't any mistakes. He did a great job. Later I had to go back and pay a little more money to remove the stuff that came back. It might take 2 or 3 tries to remove it all. I've been micro needling the residual scars to repair the scared area. If your hairs were placed with a tool that was less than 1mm I would think there might be no scars. My hairs were placed with a bigger tool and left big holes in my head. The holes with the micro needling are healing up well. The doctor at Absolute Clinic showed me a pic of a FUE that had hair removed and there were NO scars. Take out this unnatural stuff and enjoy the hair you have man. Besides the transplanted stuff your hair looks GREAT! Just keep contacting doctors until you find one that really wants to help you REMOVE this stuff and isn't trying to push more surgeries on you.
I can't comment on your experience because it does sound rather unpleasant. However, your hairline looks fine from the one pic you put up. Maybe you could put up some more?
Your hairline looks really good. I always want a hairline like this!!!
ORIGINAL POST

First of all when I arrived at the office, Dr....

First of all when I arrived at the office, Dr. Maral met with me briefly then told me he's actually leaving and will not personally be performing the procedure. That's not how it was presented to me before my arrival.

The his staff took over. The novocain shots seemed unreasonably painful. I've had work done before and it wasn't that painful at all!

The while they were working on me, the driver who met and drove me from the airport would come into the operating room and chat with the staff. Other random staff members also made their social rotations into the room where my head was bleeding and exposed to all sorts of germs. That was very unusual and not hygienic nor professional. It was a small room, and I was undergoing an operation. What on earth made them think it was reasonable to crowd the room and socialize?

But if that was all, I'd probably not even return to this site to leave a review. I'd just go about my way. Unfortunately, the work they did was just horrible.

I came in because I had scars on my head from an auto accident. They assured me that can be resolved. Well, now after almost a year the scars are not only visible, but the hairs they did add seem to emphasize the scars more in that the hair around them sticks up and out more noticeably than before.

While there I also had them add more density to my hairline. The result... think John Travolta. Honestly it looks so fake I'm embarrassed to leave the house.

My advice -- stay away!

npearson72, you're making some very strong criticisms about your FUE HT: can you add so e before and after pics to back it up?
Thank you.
Pictures would be appreciated.
Pictures of your hair would be nice
Completely agree with you bro
I really don't care if you or anyone else believes me. I've done my moral duty by posting the review. That's all I owe myself, and other than that I don't owe anyone anything. I will post some photos though since you've made such a big stink about it.
