Hey guys, I would like to share my hair transplantation experience. Just like the other second guy I was doing a lot of researches on internet, could not decide between the clinics, because of price differences and etc. and finally I made up my mind and decided to go forward with NewAge Clinic. I had my hair transplant, and for that procedure my surgeon was Dr. Ozge Ergun. Before coming to Istanbul I was in touch with General Manager, He explained to me the surgery process and answered all of the questions I worried about. What I liked about the pre operative steps is all was super organised. When I arrived, the driver met me in the entrance of the airport, took to to hotel, then I talked to Taner (G.M.) on the phone, he told me at what time I should be ready. On the next day, the day of my surgery, the driver met me in the lobby, took me to the clinic where I met NewAge Clinic Team. The clinic is very nice, very modern, has an incredible view of the Bosporus and you can see the Asian side from the window. Me as a very normal guy took a selfie :). They provided me pre operative instructions and papers with FUE Procedure description, as soon as Im done I started having the consultation with my Surgeon (He speaks english), I had physical examination, he checked my donor area, made the plan for my hair transplant, made drawings, asked about my expectation and told me how it will exactly be. After the consultation, the nurses (very friendly) started preparing me for the surgery, I changed my clothes, they took blood for test, shaved my head (only backside) and washed it properly. The the surgery began. Honestly had some little pain during the local anaesthesia, but after couple of minutes I fell absolutely nothing.
The extraction process took around 4 hours, extraction has been performed by surgeon himself, he was very understandable and gave me some coffee tea breaks. When the extraction has been done, before start doing incisions, the nurses shaved the rest of my head, and cleaned it up. Before incisions surgeon made local anaesthesia again, but this time on recipient area. When surgeon finished doing incisions I had my lunch, and had very big break. After that the placing graft inside the holes was performed by nurses. They are experienced, finished placing the grafts very fast. When the surgery has been over, I had port operative instruction with all necessary staff for my recovery, and then driver took me back to hotel. The first night was very good, I would say I slept like a baby. The day after the surgery I was brought to the clinic for my first washing procedure, they explained to me how should I wash my head, and by the time I had some few questions so I got all the answers.
I had amazing experience, the service which NewAge Clinic Team provided to me, the way they treated me its unbelievable. Im glad of choosing NewAge Clinic and I am pretty sure the patients who had surgery in NewAge Clinic they understand me perfectly.
Now will be waiting for my results, and will keep updating you guys.

Hi Stwilly, I hope it's all healing well. You said they only shaved the back of your head. So they implanted into an unshaven scalp?
Also, this clinic seems more expensive than others in Turkey. Do you think it was worth it?

Well, at first they shaved the donor area only. And when the extraction finished, surgeon did the final planning based on the extracted graft amount, made drawings and only after that the rest of my head was shaved.
Considering the price, being honest, depending on my research on internet I found two types of Hair Transplant: First was, where some of the clinics offered 2500 USD, where you will see the doctor only during consultation and during paper works, and they perform 3-5 patients daily. Second was, the exclusive session, where surgeon did the major job, he extracted by himself, he made the palling and made the incisions by himself. And of course I was his only patient for hair transplantation on my appointment.
I decided to have surgery with surgeon instead of the nurses, I know its FUE procedure only but we have to remember it is surgery, and only surgeon can do it better. Besides, if you compare the prices between Istanbul and London, this kind of service would cost me 3 times more than I paid.
So the answer is definitely YES, I worth it.
