May name is Raza, and I flew out from bonny Scotland. I had been hesitant at first but after speaking with Aytac I felt reassured. Having already had one hair transplant in Izmir I had a fair amount of knowledge on what to expect. Aytac offered a great bargain for the money being paid which had been £1400, and also spoke with great experience on the topic. He also worked around my time of being free, booking me in on a short notice and making sure the patient got the dates they required to have the operation on.
The gentleman 'Aytac' - 5 stars for him, helped me in every way possible, from speaking with the taxi driver at the airport so I was not over charged and constantly calling me on my mobile for check ups, to see if I had made it to the hotel, Aestimed do not pick up before 7am and 10pm, hence the reason I had to make my own journey to the Hotel. On the day of the procedure he kept an eye on everything and catered for all my needs. After the operation he took personal time out in taking me to a great place for a kebab due to me being hungry after the procedure. On my last day in question he once again took time out to drop me off at the bus station on my last day and helped out with where to go by given precise directions, I also ended up lost, one call later to Aytac and I was back on course. He also arranged for me to remain at the hotel reception until departure, even though I had already checked out.
The madam called 'Sadaf' - 6 stars for her!! She will carry out the majority of the operation, and when I say she is a master at her trait, I mean those words. She expertly took out the grafts and expertly inserted them back in with the help of her assistant and Aytac also joined in. Sadaf also went the extra mile and gave me '4100' grafts, considering I had paid for '3500', that was an extra 600 grafts. This was due to her assessment of my donor area on the day in question, she genuinely wants the best results for me. A true professional and sweetheart, whom worked tirelessly for over 6hrs on my transplant. Each graft was inserted by her with the most precise accuracy, whilst making sure she gives you the look you have asked for.
Assistant 'Murad' - 5 Stars for him. He is being rated for the work done during the anaesthetic process. He had used the minimum injections possible on me, less discomfort and has this great technique of making sure the anaesthetic gets around the donor area faster and covers a great mass than having to keep on injecting the scalp, resulting in more pain and discomfort for the patient. He also helped out in inserting the grafts back in with Sadaf, once again a true professional at work here. Murad also accompanied me to the toilet, making sure I was ok - due to being on anaesthetic you will feel dizzy and light headed - he would stay outside the toilet calling through and making sure a response was heard, in case, you may have fainted or fallen inside. Top man in my books.
Dr Suna - would not be rated as she came in to assess the work rate and see how the team had been managing their patient and to give advice to the team if it had been called upon. A highly experienced person in Hairs Transplants.
The Nurse - she also gets 5 stars from me, she may be at the bottom of the list but she does have a sheer workload to do also, she tended to all my needs when asked, very promptly, kind and very polite. She is also the person whom takes care of each and every graft, making sure they are laid out and sanitised and counted, before being inserted back in. She also keeps the place clean and providing you lunch. At the end she will tend to yours wounds or any excess blood having spilled on your face etc.
I shall end my review by saying, this is great team at work here, patients are well looked after. Please do bear in mind you are traveling to Turkey and paying a small fraction of price for the Hair Transplant - which would cost a considerable amount more in our own countries - if something does feel not up to scratch non transplant related, ignore it, all due the fact you have saved yourself 'thousands' in making a the trip and getting the Hair Transplant with Aestimed. As for the city Istanbul, apart from the taxi drivers, the adore the tourists and very cheap for us to eat, drink, and travel in such a bustling city. As I write this review I have had my first wash, the grafts are sitting very well and I have no complaints. I shall update my review post 8-9months, until then I highly recommend Aestimed to anyone choosing a Hair transplant in Turkey, a very good decision was done by me, and I hope by anyone reading this review.
