Gonna keep this short since there are tons of reviews for them. Dr Maral and his staff were awesome. Love them!

I'm at my 6 month mark now. I know it takes 18 for full results but I'm kinda bummed some hairs have not sprouted in my frontal areas. Really scared they at all won't at this point. Looking at old post op photos, they implanted a lot of hairs in my the areas I'm concerned about. Hopefully they sprout soon! Either way I'll take this hairdo over that big bald head again any day. :)

Yes the hairline area is filled and it's just some spots behind there that you should expect to get more hairs coming through. Six months is still relatively early. Many people who post pics here have the hairline by this time but it takes at least til the ninth month for some hairs to be visible. I'm sure Dr Maral would have some advice if you email him (with pics) and also send the link to this so that he can see your issues.

Good, I'm glad you did.
Look at the Q&A section for this kind of advice.
Look at the pics of people at your stage as I think it's normal at your stage!

A couple of friends have had it done and they said 10-11 months you won't be able to tell.

Hi, I'm at 21 weeks post HT from the same clinic. I reckon ur results r great so far. Sure it's patchy in some areas but ur still only at 6 months. Plus because you've got black hair any thin spots will really stand out.

They bright my hairline down a lot. I was very insecure with my bowling ball head, not so much now. Thanks Maral Clinic!

wow looks brilliant. do you have any pics of back to see donor area as looks like you have sides and back really short, which btw looks a great hairstyle. those areas really filled in. i have very similar hair and hair colour as you and am 4 month stage just, and have a few areas thin and patchy like spots you had side and front, I know month 5 onwards picks up hopefully and then really 6-7 month for real gains.

My donor area is still a little red. It's very noticeable because of my black hair. I also like to cut my hair short which was not recommended if you want to hide the scars. But I honestly don't care haha. There's also tiny white spots. I'll take some pics in direct sunlight as soon as I can.

Donor area as requested

Here are all the photos I have of the donor areas. Sorry some angles are off because I took them myself. My girlfriend only took 1 or 2 before she got sick of me yapping about it. It's really noticeable, but no surgery is scarless. There are ways to hide this like tattooing dots (there's a more professional name for it) or growing it out. But fully shaving down with no guard is fine with me.

great thanks. seems all redness gone in donor. mine took 4 months to go, maybe even a little left but am growing out donor fully and is remarkable how full covergae is after say 3-4 weeks of growing out. I had number 1 sides and back but looked patchy in places and still little redness. now i have full coverage. just waiting for sparse patches to fill top front and sides, have started but seems some hairs start, come through as stubble and stop dead while others grow, veryfrustrating. the growth you had from 6 months to 7 months is staggering though. looks brill. plus you have much growth to come. tbh yours looks so much like mine and i had some shockloss, sure you prob did too, some more may well grow back on donor that wasn't harvested but was shocked out for a time. thanks for posting pics

That's cool. Ive never had my donor longer than a 2. Might grow it out just to see how it looks. And yes I had shock loss at the top of my head. I'm not even sure if it grew back or if it's being covered up. Are you using anything special on your hair like shampoos or minoxidil?

On reflection, I think anyone who looks at your shaved down hair at the back of your head: It's cut a bit too close compared to the other areas but not ready noticeable. If it's grown out just a week more it's probably not noticeable!

It doesn't really bother me Bee, I'm more excited about the hair growth hahha. I plan to keep the short cut for awhile.

Your hair at this stage looks great. The rest of us can hope to get your kind of results.

I'm hoping to see a lot more of my own gaps to fill in over months 6-7.

It will! I was really concerned for awhile. But it starts to fill in. Waiting is the tough part for me. I am very impatient.
