Hey guys. Ive had a receding hairline going...

WORTH IT$2,151
Hey guys. Ive had a receding hairline going pretty strong since I was in my early 20s, and its gotten pretty bad in the last few years. I cant really spike or wear my hair like I want anymore. It looks bad long and Im too lazy to shave it, so the best idea is to get an FUE Hair Transplant :) My hair is pretty thick everywhere else though, so I think ill be a good candidate for great results. I researched it awhile back but got really serious and booked it about 3 months ago. Too bad ill have to spend my 4th of July alone, away from home in a foreign country. Im excited about getting it done though :) Im doing it all very quick though. I will leave JFK (New York City) around 11:50pm July 2 and will arrive in Istanbul around 10:00pm on July 3. My procedure will be around 9:30am July 4 and im leaving right after my followup appt July 5 around 11:50am. Its all gonna happen so fast. Im a bit nervous. I will be update this as I go. The first couple days i will update daily but then after that i may update every week or so. If anyone has any questions on anything, ill do my best to answer. Ive attached some pics

Hey guys. Just got everything done and I'm a bit exhausted. Everything was done in about 6 hrs. I'll get back to some of your questions in a couple days. Again I'm tired and I got a lot of flying to do tomorrow.

Hi stevengarlow,I'm thinking of going with doctor Cinik as well, and I was wondering if the price includes the hotel and pick ups and drop offs. Also if the Dr did the canals himself or if he only supervised the techs during the procedure.Your new hairline looks pretty neat.Happy growth.

Thank you very much for the kind words! Price basically includes everything. Yes transportation is included. From airport to hotel, hotel to hospital, and back to airport. Basically the techs did 75% of the work but the Dr does the important part of making the incisions. They are all very confident and made me feel comfortable. I give them 100% of my trust

Hey,
I believe you're going to get great results. Have you considered going on finasteride to avoid further hair loss?
And how many grafts did you get?
July 6, 2017
I have not considered that. Although I might in the future. I forgot to ask him if there's anyway to "approximate" if/when I will lose any more hair. Apparently there was a *tiny* bit of hair loss in the crown too. I got just a couple of grafts there. Most are on my hairline, though, as pictured. I received 3000 grafts

The transplant looks great and you have just made my decision to get it done with Dr. Cinik , going in January . It’s obvious your going to get a great result as they were placed perfectly. Happy growing . Please keep the updates coming . Can you put a pic of the donor area up please
November 22, 2017
I would put up a pic of the donor area but there is no point. It’s fully grown in. No scars or anything. Just s good as before :)

Finally got home

Wow. After about 24hrs of straight traveling I made it back to the US today. I'm so exhausted. Here are a couple new pics. The really cool hat they give you lol. And a new pic of the hair. It started bleeding a little bit yesterday. Maybe the hat was a little rough coming off at one point. Everything looks and feels ok though. I will take a pic later of me washing it:)

That hat though! Haha! Everything is looking good dude! Thanks for all the follow-ups, really appreciate it! Rest up and happy growing!

Thanks for the good words. Everything is good now. No pain or anything. Just a waiting game for results now. Lol. I was worried about the little blood but i just wished and everything looks ok. Looks like I didn't dislodge anything

Hey Steven, how are things going man? I've booked myself in for September with Dr. Cinik. I had a few questions hoping you could help clarify:
1. How long was your consult with Dr. Cinik. What did he do during this?
2. How was the procedure like in terms of breaks, food/drinks, communication between the techs? Between the techs and yourself?
3. Did they offer medications, shampoos, etc for purchase?
4. I keep reading about the "10 Year Guarantee", did you get one as well? Could you perhaps upload a pic of it (if it's not giving away too much patient information)?
Hope things are going solid for you, bud!

Everything is great so far. Im on day 7 and pretty much all my scabs are off(noticeable ones). I couldn't be happier
1) I did my original consultation via email and he responded back within a day or so. Im 7hrs behind Turkey, so he responded very quickly considering the time difference. Now when I got to the hospital, he spent about 10 minutes or so with me. I filled out a short sheet about things about me(do i drink, smoke, etc). And he looked at my head and made the markings with the surgical pen. Explained what was needed to satisfy my needs and such. Things happened very fast there, thankfully. Its not like in the US where you wait an hour, see the doctor, then wait another hour. And its quick and to the point(not in a bad way).
2) This part is kinda funny. I read about people having breaks and such but i just went straight through the whole procedure(no breaks at all). The techs were constantly checking to see if i was ok or if i was in pain and needed more injections. To be honest, the techs don't speak a great deal of english, but they speak enough to address any of your needs. If you tell them you feel pain, they will make sure they take care of it, or if you need to break for a moment just tell them. They gave me lunch after everything was done.
3) All of the medications and everything are all included. They give you pain killers, some stuff to settle your stomach, and a few other things. They also give u like a kinda "spray lotion" and shampoo. The spray is basically put on before u wash your hair to help loosen up some of the scabs. The shampoo they give you is basically just a mild shampoo without a bunch of fragrance and stuff in it. Its basically what we know as baby shampoo. So yeah, everything is included. Even the hat lol.
5) I never knew about the guarantee until they told me about it. Its basically just guaranteeing that your hair stays permanent for up to 10 years or they will fix it for you as long as you followed their directions (proper care, no smoking, no drinking for i think a week or two). Im sure its hard to prove that lol, but I'm definitely not worried about having bad results; I'm very confident in their work :) I would be happy to send you a pic of that but i cant find my paperwork (shame on me...lmao)

I'm very active and one of my concerns is how much down time before I could resume my usual workout? Also, does the doctor speak good English? Does any of your existing hair experience shock and fall out? As you can tell I'm very nervous about getting a HT, lol.
July 12, 2017
Well I believe he told me no working out for 2 weeks. However, I've been doing some research and a lot of DRs agree that our follicles are rooted by the 5th day and you should be fine. I would imagine it depends on the type of working out you do as well. If you're a boxer or fighter I would wait awhile lol. The Dr speaks decent English. There is also a translator there too, to help if needed. He spoke well enough for me though. Shock loss is going to occur only on the transplanted hairs; not existing. Don't be nervous. It's no sweat
July 13, 2017
Thank you! Do I have to buzz my hair for the procedure? Btw, I do crossfit which is pretty rigorous, but hopefully 2 was is enough time off and wonder if after the 2wks if anyone could tell if I had a HT.
July 17, 2017
You don't have to worry about buzzing your hair. I haven't had a haircut in 6 months and they just buzzed it in the clinic
July 7, 2017
Keep updated man.. your scabs should be gone soon. I'm schedule to have FUE with Dr.Cinik end of October.

I preferred to done this operation in france even if it's more expensive than turkey,
and because I know that this doctor i have visited is very competent in transplant,
I tried to convince him to redress my hair line but he adviced me to wait a few years before doing this operation,
It's sad,
Cordialement,
no there is no reason, but I have my cousin in the same situation, he made a hair transplant in germany 2 years ago,
and these days his hair is very ugly cz he has losing his old hair during this period,
so Im afraid to find myslef in this situation if I do the hair transplant in turkey or anywhere,
