Facelift Surgery

I am 58 years old and live in Turkey. My American neighbour did a facelift and I was fascinated about the result and so I decided to go there for an inhouse consultation. Truely I am Turkish and live here but when I went into the clinic I felt like I am somewhere else in Europe. The staff,the atmosphere,how they talk and handle you was totaly professional. It was not easy for me to decide if I should do it or not but after my husbands death 1 year ago I decided to do a change in my life.So I had my consultation with the plastic surgeon Dr Özge Ergün at Newage Clinic Istanbul. The most I appreciate was the VIP treatment I received. Dr Özge Ergün took time,explained everything which I needed to know. He did not push me and did not offer me other treatments just to earn money which usually Turkish doctors do.I choose my date and filled in my pre op forms,made my pre payment and went home. One week before the surgery the patient coordinator called me and gave me some instructions and reminders for the surgery. One day before she called me again and gave me the last instructions,because of the anesthesia. The next day when I went in to the private hospital she was waiting there for me which shocked me. I knew that this service was given to foreign patients but they did it also for me. I honestly felt very good,when I saw her. We checked in,went to the room were I changed my clothes.The nurse came and took blood for some tests like hepatitis-HIV etc. Than the anesthesia doctor came and asked me a lot of questions and she filled in some forms and I signed them. Than I was ready for the surgery. My surgery took 1,5 hour and I woke up very quickly and I felt good. Of course I had pain but the hospital staff did everything to feel me comfortable and painless. Every hour I got my ice packs and medications. The night was ok.I had pain but it was really not strong and could handle it.The next day the Dr Özge came, informed me about how the surgery was and gave me my post op medications.He instructed me about the details and how the healing procedure will follow up and how long I have to use the pressure garment. Three days later I went again to the Newage Clinic for a post op control were he checked the stitches. Again three days later he asked me to come and I did as I had sweelings and I was a little nervous about it. On the first and third month I went in again for a control and it was good. The scars turned reddish but the healing procedure was easier than I had expected. 10 month past and my daughter is jealous about the result.Maybe she will do it also when she will be over 40 as she is still 29. Thanks to Dr Oz and his staff and it was worth it. I really recommand him …..
