So I ended up having 4 litres removed and having just small bbl to fill out the upper part of my buttocks. Honestly my feelings are really mixed. I wasn’t nervous or anything going in and they did a good job coordinating. But I got very very very sick and I definitely felt like they weren’t taking it seriously. I was beyond exhausted I couldn’t even get up to pee. I was throwing up, passing out and I had a fever for days and days. They gave me a blood transfusion, two or three but it never really helped. I ended up taking a business class flight home because I was so sick. I will say the pain from the actual procedure was pretty tolerable. Some of the nurses were amazing, some of them were the worst. But in the end I just felt like no one was taking me seriously. I’m a pretty tough person when it comes to these things and I can take a lot. When I say I’m sick and something is wrong I mean it. I went straight to the hospital when I got home I was pretty scared. I was having fever dreams and I couldn’t speak anymore. Turns out that i had gotten salmonella poisoning and because my immune system was compromised it was really kicking my butt. On top of that the antibiotics they gave me to prevent infection made it worse. I still don’t understand how you don’t check for infection or anything if someone has a fever for that long. I couldn’t way anything I was so beyond miserable. I couldn’t bathe I was begging them to keep me in the hospital I couldn’t manage the hotel. Anyway the result is.... fine? He definitely didn’t do a bad job and my result is very even. I still feel like at some point I will have to go back and take a little more from my thighs that wasn’t the result I was looking for exactly. i wouldn’t say don’t go per say. No one would have told me otherwise, I’d just say it’s really scary not feeling like you’re going to get the care you need. It took doctors at home in the hospital about 2 min to figure out what was wrong and the stool sample just confirmed it. If everything goes well, and surgery wise it did, you’re lucky but if not..... i don’t know. Save up a little more and do it at home. I don’t think i could ever do it abroad again. It was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life even while Mcan and dr harari seemed to be very caring.
