Breast reduction 5 weeks post-op
Quick update here, as I had a breast reduction on Friday, which was exactly 5 weeks post-op! Everything went well, and now I'm focusing on having a healthy and speedy recovery from this surgery too. This was my last surgery as far as I know, and I can't wait to be back in "the real world" and go climbing, dancing, and exercising hard again.
My breast reduction surgery was covered my the government as it was for health reasons, and was initially scheduled for May/June - I did not plan for these surgeries to be this close. My clinic had an opening though, and I really wanted to get this whole recovery-phase over and done with as soon as possible. I got tested for MRSA, and am happy to say I don't have it after my surgery with Dr. Manavbasi in Istanbul. Got a blood thinner when I woke from anesthesia to counter an increased risk of blood clots with two surgeries this close, and I was home for dinner the same day. I'm feeling sooo good compared to what I expected from this BR. It's frustrating being unable to use my arms (especially as I've gotten used to compensating with those after my BBL), but I know it's only temporary and it's a small price to pay.
I went back to sleeping on my back the day I had my BR, and at 5 weeks that feels fine. I support my lower back or my thighs with a pillow sometimes, but it doesn't feel like a 'need' at all. I'm SO happy with my results starting to take shape from Dr. Manavbasi, and my surgeon here said he did an excellent job too, which surely is comforting.
They removed almost 1kg/2lbs of boob with the anchor technique, and I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. Tomorrow I get to take my bandages off and take a shower, and I'm so excited. I still have boobs, but they seem .. perkier and higher and I can fit one almost in the palm of my hand - which was impossible before!
I'm still here for all your BBL/ComfortZone questions. xoxo, Beau

New garments, and 3 week update!
Hi girls!
So, I am officially three weeks post-op! I'm healing great, almost all of my bruising is gone - just some left on one inner thigh, which I expect to be gone in a few days. I've started sitting some on my bum, still leaning forward to take most of the pressure of my thighs, but it feels good and I've come to a point where I almost forget when lying down. I still stand, lie on my tummy, or use the pillow for the most part though. Last two days I have had a bit of swelling in my feet, but I've elevated them and kept moving (though I can't walk/stand as much as usual right now, as I got a minor inflammation in my feet due to too much standing and walking these past weeks), and it's fine. Nothing dramatic, but just so that my shoes fit a little snug.
Talking garments, I am beyond thankful I found this shop where I got the different sizes before deciding - and that I ended up with two great fajas! I bought them through https://hold-inn.no/ but found both on Amazon for you to look up yourself. I ordered them Friday afternoon, and got them Monday. If you go to the top of my post and look at the two last pictures before this, one in black garment with white at the waist and one in the beige from same angle, you can see how much of a difference it makes when some swelling in my waist has gone down, I take my binder off, and this new garment boosts my tush!
So, these are the two I got:

MY CURRENT MEASUREMENTS:
100cm / 39.4in
69cm / 27.2in
114cm / 44.9in
And I am 178cm /5'10 tall
I tried some models in sizes XL, L and M, and these were my two favourite models. I went with size Medium for both of these models. Also tried one with less compression in S, but that was too big - despite my monster hip measurements right now, haha. As for the process of trying these on: GIVE IT TIME. I thought all these garments wouldn't fit once I'd pulled them up to my knees. That I'd ruin them. It's a slow process, you simply have to trust that the zippers won't break (and they won't), and move slowly. I probably spent fifteen minutes getting them on - it was a work-out! I would be so sad if I stopped at XL, which initially felt like a good fit, though, as M after a few days now has shown to give me the PERFECT amount of support and compression. So -do not give up-. And take your measurements beforehand and use the sizing guides provided when buying. I weighed almost 10kg/20lbs more than the chart (at hold-inn.no) showed for size M, and going just by my weight I should've been in XL or XXL, but my waist was a S/M, and as I'm tall (which accounts for some fat distribution/weight) it made M the perfect choice for me in the end. Depending on how much my waist/bum goes down, I might even be able to squeeze into a S in a few weeks - but these babies I'm wearing now are TIGHT so no rush on that!
Note: Unlike the garment I got at CZ, I have to take this one off to go to the restroom. That was a punch in the face after I'd gotten it on the first time and was confident I never would be able to do it again, haha, but I got used to it very quickly! As my body is feeling a lot better now 3 weeks post-op, I don't really mind - it's starting to normalize not CONSTANTLY having a garment on, which feels good. Second note: The first nights this new garment felt too tight to wear at night as I felt some numbness at my hips, and so I used my "old" garment at night-time. Now it feels fine though, and I sleep in the new.
My energy is coming back too, so I'll catch up on some work and practice during our eight day easter holiday! To summarize: I'm doing great, healing steadily, and very happy with both the individual faja models, and overall this brands quality. I'm getting more used to my body now, and I'm loving it. Still wouldn't mind if my butt came down a bit more, but I'm happy as is too! xoxo, Beau.

New garment
That waist!
I think I have decided on two new garments now, one for right now and one for when the swelling has gone down just a tad more, and _whoah_ what a difference it makes. Also what hell it was trying them on and wearing it the first hours, haha. I'll write more in detail about style, brand, sizes, and experience tomorrow! Maybe add some better pictures too.
Hope all of you are doing great, wherever in the process you are. Much love, Beau.
