9 months Post FUE. Dr.Cinik
So I am about 9 months after my operation. I fell like the front is pretty thin and hasn’t come out thick yet. I haven’t cut my hair for about 2.5 months now. Some of the hair that has grown back is curly or it grows straight for an inch then suddenly bends to the left of right. I see very few little hairs coming out and I feel like it won’t grow much anymore ?
I have been taking 1.25 finasteride ( 5mg pill cut into 4 pieces) + 5mg biotin + multi vitamin EVER SiNgle day since my operation. Maybe missing 7 days at most.
One thing I can say I regret is doing my procedure in another country. I think it’s really important to have follow up check ups with your surgeon. It is hard to talk to the people In Turkey over Whatsapp. They reply to me but not very helpful.
Anyone have any suggestion to get my hair thicker ? Or do I need another operation ?

Paper work given to me after surgery
I've decided to make this review to help people...
I've decided to make this review to help people interested in getting the FUE procedure. I started noticing my hair loss around the age of 22. Mainly in my crown and frontal area. Shortly after I started hearing about the FUE hair transplant procedure and that Turkey was a good country to get it done. I did some research and decided to go with Dr.Cinik.
I took Turkish airlines and my flight left from Vancouver with a lay over in Toronto. My seats were economy and I believe I got food poisoning from the airline food because within 2 hrs of landing I started having explosive diarrhea. It was horrible and I had Surgery the next day!!!! After this experiences I changed my return flight to business/first
class which was totally worth it. I will never fly economy before or after a medical procedure ever again!!!
On the day of the surgery I had not gotten much sleep because I had diarrhea every hour, on the hour. I considered cancelling the surgery but thought I would go talk to the doctor first. A driver picked me up around 8am and then picked up about 3-4 other people on the way to the clinic.
Dr.Ciniks clinic is located close to the top floor in medical park hospital. It was very clean and modern. Once arriving they took blood test and confirmed I was sick. They gave me juice, food and hooked me up to an IV that made me feel better within an hour. It seemed like they were genuinely concerned about me. Which made me feel like I was in good hands!!!!
There was about 5-8 other people there at the same time as me. Some were going for their surgery And some were getting a post op check up. There was new people arriving later on in the day for surgery as well. This made me realize how popular Dr.Cinik is. But also I realized there's no way he could be personally performing all the surgeries...
I had a consultation with doctor Cinik and he said I needed 4000 grafts. I did not have to pay till after the consult, nor did I have to put a deposit down before I left Canada.
The operation started by putting anesthetic / injections into my head. This was the most painful thing I have ever felt. If people say this procedure is pain less, then they are a liar LOL but you only feel the first 10-20 injections. And I would guess there was about 30-40 injections inn total. After that the procedure is relativity painless. It is more uncomfortable laying on ur front/ back for such a long time. At one point it hurt and I expressed this to them and they put in a couple more injections and then It was all good. I was able to take breaks anytime during the procedure.
The operation took about 6 hrs I believe ( I could be wrong) and it was mainly performed by two of Dr.Ciniks assistants. He was performing the operation for about 20% of the time but he would come inn frequently to check up. At the time I didn't like how he was not performing the surgery himself but his assistants were very nice, professional and did an awesome job!! But he does advertise that he does all of his surgeries. Which is no fully true !!!!!
After the surgery I was given some medications and then brought back to my hotel and I passed out. I added a picture of all the after care instructions I was provided with.
I came back for two check ups and they taught me how to take care/wash my hair and sold me some after care products ( finasterid , bioten, multi vitamin and shampoo) I was also given a 10 year guarantee. If anything goes wrong they will fix it and provide all medicine BUT I'd have to pay for my transportation and accommodation.
The surgery costs 2020 euro/ 3070 cdn including tax. This included transport to and from airport/hotel/hospital, and 2 nights hotel accommodation. Flight not included in that price. After the surgery you will need to purchase after care products which is not included in the price. I got a 1 year supply (they recommend 6 months minimum) for 1040 euro / 1580 cdn. I stayed 3 extra nights at the hotel, which they gave me a discounted rate for. I wanted to stick around just in case any complications occurred and I also wanted to rest/ heal before returning home.
I wish I inquired into a local Vancouver doctor because I thought the operation was 30k locally but I recently found out it's about 15-20k cdn. But I think this price is without the after care products. Knowing this now I might have choose to stay local. Mainly because you don't have to fly, your able to go home to your own bed and your able to see the doctor for check ups and incase there's any future complications. This all depends if the local procedure is in your budget.
My advice is if you can afford it, then do the operation locally. It's much safer, convenient and ALOT less stressful. Make sure you follow ALL after care recommendations. I had a friend who had bad results due to not taking the pills afterwards.
I will have to wait for a 1-1.5 years to see the full results of my surgery. Only then will I know if this was all worth it!!!
I have stayed in contact with someone from the clinic thru whatsapp and they respond very promptly to me about any questions I have. They also ask me to send them pictures so they can see my progress.
I will post pictures to keep updated!
Feel free to shoot me any questions!

Dr.Cinik is very nice and seems like he actually cares. The two assistants that mainly worked on me were very good as well but I do not remember their names. He does not do all the surgery him self but he does do some of it ( roughly 20% of procedure) and checks up one surgery often. This is not a bad thing because his assistants are professionals and took good care of me.
