What a great experience. Surgery : Feb 12th 2018 - 7-8am. I was a little skeptical at the beginning since they do not take any form of deposit $ that could make me feel I had my appointment reserved., traveling all the way from Florida, I wanted to feel somehow confident that I was gonna get my surgery done. Basically, all communication was made via Whatsapp, they always responded on time and to all my questions. So my appointment was booked after I had confirmed and show my airplane ticket purchase. I ask for an email and in 24 hours I had received an email with all instructions and what to do at the time you arrive at the airport I honestly, did not want to take their shuttle, I decided to make it easy and took a taxi directly to the hotel to avoid any waiting. ( I don't like to depend on services that I can manage on my own) . Expect to pay about $20 from Airport to the Hotel. From the hotel, is basically 2-minute walk to the clinic. I was downstairs at the time they had advised me and I had a driver picking me up with a long list of names for that day. (I started to see that Istambul is really famous for hair transplants) . So the driver took me to the clinic, and as soon they open the door I had 2 friendly girls waiting for me who guided me all the way to see Dr. Cinik and from there, everything was well explained. I was evaluated to get 2500 graft This Dr. Is so busy, and the clinic is almost own by his staff.. they conduct like 10-20 hair transplants a DAY!. which made me feel very confident and secure that I had chosen the right team. After the evaluation, I was taken to the financial desk, where I made my payment to a very tall and pretty lady and from there I was taken to a place where they shave part of my head gave me some painkiller and that was it... I did not feel anything but relaxed the whole time... after they had finished (around 3pm) gave me some great Twinkie "kake" , they were really tasty by the way.., and I was taken to another office where they gave us some medicine, instructed what to do and to arrange our appointment for next day for a check-up. I don't like writing too much, so I am very sorry.. I can only tell, i do recommend this doctor, don't feel afraid, I know for some of us going to another country could be intimidating and scary, but after all , it was not as I had expected, everyone was very friendly and what amazes me more is that everywhere you see people with fresh hair transplants walking all over Istanbul. Just today at the airport I counted 12 people with fresh hair trasplants! I will post pictures later..
