Hair Transplant Review
ORIGINAL POST
I started losing my hair around 20s. I am 40 now...
WORTH IT$2,400
I started losing my hair around 20s. I am 40 now and my bald area got bigger and bigger as you will see in the pictures. I talked to many doctors and they told me that I need at least 2 operations to cover the whole area and not to have very high expectations right away due to the sheer size of my bald & bright top of head =)

Hello...any more pictures of today please?

Hi mahiryildirim, do you have any more recent pictures? I am very interested in going to the same clinic, and I would appreciate it if you could post a more recent picture because my balding is very similar to yours before the surgery.

For me I pull my hair on the top of my head, but Idk that I'm pulling it and I'm trying my best to stop pulling so I keep myself busy like helping my kids with their school work or cleaning up etc...., but what can I do to make my hair grow back?
October 20, 2015
even if you pull those hairs, it doesnt mean that they are gonna forever. you have the hair roots, its gonna grow back. try not to do it though :)

Imma just keep busy with my kids because they stay keeping me busy all day everyday lol so I'm not gonna even think about pulling my hair because I want my hair to grow back. How many months will it take for hairs on my head to grow back?

lol, idk what to say. yeah, try to get rid of your habit first, before having any hair transplants..

Pre Operation Pictures
Ok. Here are my pictures. I will share my journey in detail, and please feel free to ask as many questions as you want.
These pictures are taken on Jan 2015 when I was sending my pictures to different doctors to hear their ideas and learn more about their pricing. Most doctors told me that I have a veeery big area to cover so one single hair transplant wouldn't be enough.

Great results!- Congratulations. Was wondering if you looked at Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu during your search.
You healed up very nice.

Good luck man! He seems like a good doctor. I am sure you are gonna be better off than having a FUT in US anyway. So don't worry.

I wanted to use Dr Maral, after reading the positive reviews and seeing the impressive before and after pictures. However, I asked several questions vi email, maybe 4 questions, prior to making my decision. I had a fairly technical question about determining the "safe zone" for hair harvesting, since I'd read that some aggressive surgeons harvest outside the safe zone for maximum grafts. His reply to me was: "You can trust my experience and professionalism and my knowledge" - which does not answer the question. Then, I asked if he was involved, because I want a doctor at least around, supervising, and I also asked if the transplant team was focused on me or watching TV(!) while they operated (since I read this happened at another clinic). I explained to Dr Maral that I did not want people watching TV while they operated on my head and affected my appearance for the rest of my life. His response was: "Yes I involve but I want to reject you simply, and dot use my time anymore, please continue with any other clinic". So I will not be able to use Dr. Maral. He will not accept me. You can draw your own conclusions from this exchange between Dr. Maral and myself.

Wow, that's very disconcerting! He sounds so professional in the other reviews.
mahiry, could you tell whether the technicians for your procedure were engaged in watching TV as they worked on you?

Nope. Here is what people mean by watching TV though.. There was some Turkish music channel in the background playing and they were just listening it. They were also occasionally chanting alongside which created a relaxed atmosphere. It's a long and dull process (Mine took 8hours!!). Tell them you don't want to hear it and I am sure they would shut it down immediately. I didn't do that because that's totally fine by me and I wanted them to be in their best mood.

Transest clinic was the same. The tv was tuned to 'Turkish Top 20' and kept the techs happy and engaged. They spoke little English, but could sing along to Katy Perry. Besides, 8 hours of complete silence would be torture. Lol
