Destroyed my Donor Area - 1 Year Post-op Review

Don't want to post a lengthy review. I'm a 30 year old male, went to Dr Maral's clinic as his reviews here are reasonably good and it seemed good value for money. I told myself before that I would accept if it the hair transplant was unsuccessful without any growth. What I didn't expect was for my donor area to have bald patches throughout, which in combination with absolute minimal growth from the FUE, just looks ridiculous.
3500 grafts. I've attached photos of my pre-op photos, post-op photos, and 1 year photos I took today.
No idea what to do with this mess now. I'm thinking of trying to salvage it with an FUT from a better surgeon, and then will scalp micropigmentation on the donor zone after.

So sorry to read this. If it's any consolation, it doesn't look as bad as you think. Also, there are clinics that can use body hair to repair this.

I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience. Much like the other comment, it doesn’t look as bad as you’ve said. Keep your spirits up. Just like going bald, it always seems worse to the individual and is not as noticeable to everyone else.

Lol dude first of you have 200% more hair on top than u had before so therefore it was a sucess. 2 the places ur showing thinning hair isnt places he took hair from to begin with. Ur sideburns temples etc are thinning with bald spots bc u clearly have Retrograde alopecia instead of androgenic. Retrograde is where ur hair thins all
On the sides too and thats not a surgeons fault thats just the genetics you were delt. 3 it doesnt even look bad

I would trim the sides shorter to make the thinning less noticeable. Besides that the top of your head looks way more presentable than it did. I would be bummed about the sides of my head being this thin, but it looks like this was more of a genetic thing to begin with. Like mentioned already, you may be able to use body hair to spruce up the thinning areas.
