I like the out come. I had total 6 syringes. I saw reviews the Bellafill can break down after injection, I don't see that happened. If who injects it make a difference, than go to Dr. MD Cote.

I really liked Dr. Cote but unfortunately have weird little lines and bumps in my lips after her injections that she can't explain. They were absolutely caused by her doing the procedure but she doesn't know how or what exactly they are... filler? inflammation?? Her not knowing what the bumps and lines are makes me scared to let her try and fix it though she definitely made me feel like she really wanted to make it better.

I wasn't doing my lips, so don't know. And this is the only filler and only doctor I used, so I don't have comparison either. I am sharing that the injection in my face didn't break down like others were saying. I was scared when I read that.

Thanks for your post! Would you post some pics too? Love to see the results!

Did you have the injections just in your smile lines or other areas too? What made you choose Bellafill?

I didn't want to go under the knife. I'm not sure if I want to do more bellafill, my plastic surgeon said No. She said there are to many horror stories. I'm not sure who to believe. I want to see more reviews from the real self community before I make a final desision. Anyone out there to help me out?

Read the info. on this filler vs. other's....there is only a 1% reaction rate vs. other fillers....do your homework....Dr. Cote knows where to put the filler and follows the line around your face like you would do for a face lift....thus giving you a gradual but natural lift. I had 6 syringes also by her...and am happy with the upper face lifting....it also lifted my nasal labial lines abit. The five year study is out so read it. The Dr's asst. had this done 10 years ago and just a minor correction to her cheeks to make them fuller this year....she looks great. It does take a lot of syringes...but if you do 6 at a time there is a discount and you can see a change. This is a long term investment to avoid surgery for me.

photos please?

I didn't take any before photos so no point putting the after photos cause you can't see the change. My smile lines are still there,it is just better and my face look fuller so doesn't look so stressed and sad. Maybe more is needed but I will wait and see.

I had it just in my smile lines for years ago and was very happy with it. I will be having it in my upper face in October.

To give a loose description of bellafill it is a collagen gel filled with microscopic beads. The gel gets absorbed by your body so for a bit it may seem like it has broken down but then your own tissue covers and fills in around the beads. It is totally normal for the original result to seem less as the collagen is absorbed and then return as your own tissue builds.
