WORTH IT$7,000
First time I have put on one if my bathing suits since surgery. Wish the swelling would be gone already but I think I am just noticing it more than anyone else.

Me too! Are you back to work soon? Incisional pain?
February 26, 2015
No I don't have to go back to work till April 16th which I am very grateful for but still a little worried Because work 3 12 hr shifts and most of them are in a row. I am getting nerve pain mostly at night and primarily in my hip area. How about you? Are you back working and any pain or discomfort?

I go back the week of the 16th, 2.5 weeks from now. At that point I will have been off 10 weeks and I have started to feel guilty about it and decided to give it a try. Still worried about it. I asked my manager to split the days because I normally like my days in a row too. 12 hours is a long time and I still worried about it because I have incisional pain after any real walking and I just don't tolerate ANY garment for any length of time. Sometimes I realize that I am actually fine once I get back to work but I don't do pain well so we'll see. If it doesn't work I still have a gazillion EIB hours! I am so happy that you still have so much time. Smart girl!

Are you wearing your cg? I had to order an extra small so I could get better compression and get the fluid buildup down because I still am having to have it drained every week. My PS thinks I I won't need to get it drained with the tighter garment now but I can barely breath in it.I am wearing it all day and then switch to the looser one at night but I can't imagine wearing it to work all day! I am flying to Denver on Thursday to visit my mom and sister for a few days but was wondering if the altitude will effect my swelling?

I am having a horrible time with all garments and don't want to buy anymore. I just put one on Ebay, LOL. I wear my original waistband CG at night at occasionally during the day for true fluid but I seem to be dealing with muscle tightness more than fluid. And when it starts at my incision I wanna scream. I don't know what I am gonna do for work either. Somehow I thought that it would be lessened at this point. I get on a plane Wednesday and I am worried about it too! I am taking every PRN that I can think of for a long trip. Happy traveling!

Good luck
March 4, 2015
Hope your trip goes well. We can get through this. I still need pain medication sometimes with the cg on and especially at night. I didn't think the muscle tightness would last this long but it is getting better. Keep me posted on how you do with work.

I will. Yeah, me too with the meds at night. Luckily just Tylenol or Motrin. I stopped the Aleve but everything is going tomorrow. I don't want to worry about what I should have done. Today was a good day, got by with just one ES Tylenol until now, I felt less preggos today, lol. Hopefully the trend will continue.

Your stomach looks amazing. I showed it to my hubby yesterday and today the new pictures. I'm swollen big time on the lower abdominem. I also use to have 25 inch stomach back then.....and I hope it will be close to it.
February 25, 2015
I have to make another comment. Looking at your before pictures my tummy was similar to yours. If the outcome of my tt will be as nice as yours I'll be one happy girl

Congratulations!! One month is a long time to have a drain. I cannot imagine how great you must feel to have had it removed.
February 16, 2015
Yes but I am actually feeling worse since it was removed and feel very tight and uncomfortable today. I am sure it is fluid retention but not sure if it will dissipate on its own or if I need to have it aspirated? I am taking it easy today but feel like I did the first 2 wks instead of 1 month. Can anyone tell me if this is normal and will it get better on its own or will I need to go on and have fluid drained ? I don't see a lot of extra fluid but definitely feel it.

I tend to swell more around my incision when I walk and went in 2 days after my last drain was pulled because it was different. I was told to make sure that I compress the area too went I put my binder on. Otherwise I can be soft at times, then get hard when I eat or after activity. Tell me about your plan to return to work. It looks like you have a busy nursing job too. I have an oncology position and just don't feel ready yet and I worry about it. Still have 3 more weeks b4 work.
February 20, 2015
I was able to get 3 months off belly tired and habe off till 4/16 but I do work 12 HR shifts as a charge nursee on a rehabilitation unit and am wotried how I will do all day if this swelling hasn't improv ed dramatically. Do you work 8 HR days?
February 20, 2015
Sorry for the typos. It is late in California.
