Pre-Op Today.....13 Days to Go! - Ireland, IE

Well today makes it 15days post op, I think that my whole TT experience has been very positive from day one, and ITS don't mean to take away from the pain thst others have experienced, but for me its been very minimal and I am so grateful for that. I am walking straight since surgery eventhough I may not have been walking as fast as I normally would I was still walking straight. I now back to full daily routine minus working out which is starting to agitate me, but I plan to start a gentle routine next Monday and see how it goes (fingers crossed). I'm still eating very clean with high protein, but I have found my apatite has decreased, I have not weighed myself yet, but plan on doing it on Monday......
The swelling starts about mid afternoon and by nightfall I have a nice pot belly, no swelling above incision only below, easy to put up with when I have had such a great TT experience to date. I love my scar and the scar placement and of course my new found BB!.

Well that's pretty much it, I hope my story gives reassurance to anyone who is approaching their surgery date. FYI love the clear silicone sheets. I plan on starting Bio Oil on scar next week too. Happy and positive healing to all. xx

Aww thank you luv2bmommy, I definitely think I have been super lucky with the way everything has gone to date, especially when I read the difficulties with pain some of the ladies have been experiencing (my heart goes out to them). I am sure your results will be fantastic, you already have a great shape, and when your time comes I will be sending you the positive healing thoughts that have gotten me through! x

I wrote alot more in my first reply to you, but it didn't show up (grrrrr). The general gist was that you look amazing even before surgery so I just know your results will be amazing. I do believe that being physically fit before surgery helped with my recovery. I will be thinking of you and look forward to seeing your results! Stay positive and at quite moments when you get a minute to yourself repeat to yourself how amazing the surgery will be and how well you are going to heal. Happy healing. xx

Hi Snowfly, I am doing great, you are fantastic for checking in with me! (thank you).....never mind me, how you feeling omg you must be so excited and I am excited for you.....you won't know yourself, what is for you now about a week to go (am I right?). You will do great, use the positive reinforcement techniques. Let me know just before you are going in so I can do a wee bit on my end for you!! Remember this is going to be amazing and your results are going to be amazing. xox

Just under two weeks to go :) Nov 27 is my day, and I AM so excited. And nervous, a little scared, too. You know. The whole gambit :)
So that's next Wednesday week, I have it in my calendar now!. I still remember how nervous I was and then then about two days before a calm just came over me and it stayed, it was so weird, but I was just ready. I hope the same happens with you
I can't believe this.....I had written so much more, but it didn't show...(not the first time this has happened, oh I'm soooo cross....grrrrrr. Anyway the book is 'The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind' by Dr. Joseph Murphy. I love this book and use the methods in it all the time. Yes, I've done that, too, but invariably it's My fault, lol! Great to know that this site may also be conspiring against me ;) Ok, I've written down Again on my latest list. (I can't even tell you how many partially filled lists are at the bottom of my shopping bags and I don't find them until next shopping day :p) Slowly getting organized! Thanks so much for caring, I really like the thought that someone so far away will be meditating a bit for me

Day Four

Day four post op and I still feel very good, had a shower today, it was the best shower ever and finally the bowels moved so today was just amazing!!

I have just taken some pictures and its evening so I am swollen, but I don't care I love my results. I hope everyone is healing well and feeling happy with their results. x

Wow! Love your results so far. I am getting ready to leave for my post op appointment and to check on loose drain! I am so nervous to see how it looks so far.

Feeling very relaxed and ready

Today I'm feeling very relaxed and ready for this positive life change. I decided on some me time now that the house is cleaned, the laundry done and the fridge stocked.....so I took myself off to the beautician's and got myself waxed from head to toe (well from eyebrows to lower legs!). I am scheduled for surgery at 2pm tomorrow, so by 5ish I will be on the flat side (Oorah.....)
