I am 43, 5ft 10, have two children, one 17 and one 10. Five years ago I lost 119lbs and have kept it off for five years, but now I have the tummy of a much older woman. Though I feel great I do not look great (especially naked..lol)
So today I had my Pre-Op and paid for the Op in full, which has made it so real (no going back now...)
I have taken some before pics, I would love to hear from someone who is post op with the same body shape as me, just for some reassurance (bites lip)

In 11 days that tumny will just be a mere memory of your past and u will have a brand new amazing tummy! Congrats on the weight loss....u deserve this! !! Keep us updated

Oh thank you for checking in with me, yeah nearly here, I just finished reading your review you look amazing. I am having second thoughts right now, for a while there I thought the day would never come, but right now I have no problem waiting (what is wrong with me, I have been wanting this for years, but now that its nearly here I am so scared....grrrrr!)

2 days, 23 hours and 35 minutes.....bur who's counting!!!! (lol) OMG my stomach is in knots literally, didn't sleep a wink last night. Hope you're doing better than me on nerves :-)

Oh Sweet Jebus, this is beginning to feel very real!!
So I sleep at all last night, I can gi from 0 to crazy in a matter of seconds.....one second I am so happy and can't wait and then I can literally blink my eyes and I ask myself why are you doing this to yourself, (the scarring, the swelling, the pain.....). I am a Gemini so I am putting it down to the 'twins', I just wish I could pick an emotion and stick with it. It really is a rollercoaster, and I am so happy I found this site and for all the support and kind words of encouragement from everyone. Sisterhood at its best. Thank you. xx

Aw thanx yeah I definitely think I'm over the worst now I think I healed quickly as I only had lower muscle repair and no lipo and my incision isn't extended either I think the more work you have the more healing time is needed :) xx

I'm having lipo and full muscle repair, but trying to stay positive for a speedy recovery ;-)

I know it seems like forever once you book it....I wish I would of been able to book it and have it a few days later.... the anticipation is killing me. Lol. At least I can learn about it from all my RS friends :-)
