I can assure everyone here that ipl damage is very real. I saw another derm in Manhattan yesterday and she said all the damage is from the ipl, do you think it's normal to wrinkle in 7 weeks ? I just had bbl which is ipl. My skin turned into wax, I have bizarre texture , dents , holes , huge pores and under my eyes hollowed out . Every single day it chsnges , I hsve hundreds of photos . It happens rapidly . Every morning I'm terrified when I have to check the mirror . I documented the wrinkles , first it was a 5 line section about 1/3 of inche wide , thrn 12 lines and an inch thrn 20 lines and 2 inches and this is the past 3 days, they are weird micro wrinkles . I also had s new derm take photos so it's documented and when I take another set next week, how can it be denied . I thought I was going to br spared the wrinkles but no. The thermal damage is severe , the elastin and collagen are destroyed , you get fully dehydrated , moisturizer won't help you , in fact any topical makes you worse . The treating derm admitted my pores were huge and that my skin turned to wax. She wouldn't admit the wrinkles and pulled up old photos she had and then when she couldn't find the wrinkles she went to the day of the procedure and looked and couldn't find the wrinkles then changed the subject . I have bizarre texture changes which she also couldn't deny . When I showed her my photos that I took in the following weeks and it's clear my under eye area aged 20 years , wrinkles and hollowed out, she said the after photo wasn't me thrn accused me of photo shop. I had hundreds of photos so I asked her to take a photo and we put the before and thrn side by side and it's utterly shocking , I look like my mother when she was 65, literally. She said oh maybe you're just dry . No, I'm hollowed out , there are women in their early 20s that need fat grafts or a ton of fillers after ipl. It's so fast , everyday you see major changes that you can't even process. I had zero wrinkles , excellent elastin and collagen so while I had my pigment destroyed and texture changes I never thought I would get the wrinkles , it was hard for me to even believe anf I didn't think I would get the fat loss , seemed far fetched but it happened . All this in several weeks so imagine in the next 6 months what I will be.i never wanted a full face , I asked for 2 spots above my lip and she told me it could help dark eye circles . First time she said she can hit a few spurs of the side of 1 cheek and I said no . Second time she changed to another ipl machine , bbl, and we reviewed again and I asked her to show me where she saw the 2 dark spots to make sure she didn't go outside of those . And I said just on the dark circle not below . Well little did I know she was using a giant square . I heard 2 pulses on each side of my lip and she said it's small circles so the dark patches are small , about the size of half a dime so I was thinking the applicator is tiny of it needed to pulses . No, it's a big square . Then she went on my face and I thought the most she is doing is getting tiny imperfections so 15 pulses would be the size of the bottom of s glass in area . What she did was my entire face , every single cm. This is a dermatologist that's famous in NYC and allover , you will see her in all the fashion magazines dispensing advice . She later denied going allover my face . Well, when some of the swelling went down , I had squares imprinted allover my face and she could not deny it . 3 other derms documented the squares allover my face and took photos , I'm branded . People say they get running dots in straight lines , I look like I have crazed lines everywhere becayde the border of the square cracks , they are perfectly symmetrical and evenly spaced , you can see all the dots in the squares . I went to another derm and she said it's permanent , you can't undo it , the dansge is severe and I had no outward burns . The treating derm wouldn't even help me , had I been put on oral steroids and told not to use anything on my face , I might have 40% less dansge and arrested the damage but I sat there with a painful face . I did end up getting steroids but too late anf I was told to moisturize so I did and it made me worse . The skin is so destroyed it can't process anything . Probably doesn't matter what we do . I went on another round of oral steroids and more infksmmsyin went down and my face looks horrifying . I cry everyday , I can't sleep , I hsve panic attacks . I never wanted a full face and I should hsve lived with the 2 dark patches , I would do anything t look like I did the day before the laser . I'm so altered anyone who saw me now would just think wow , she ages badly . I look 20 years older and thsts not an exaggeration , photos don't lie , the treating dr's photos show a different face entirely in 7 weeks . Ipl destroys your face anf dr's know this . The derm that told me it's hopeless uses lasers herself so she would hsve incentive to lie , she was very honest and said these are all known outcomes and possibilities especially if the settings are wrong . How do you know ? The dr chooses the settings , you tell them put it low , you don't burn on the outside , so what are you supposed to think ? Every review of people's faces deteriorating I know for certain are factual , I'm living it . You think maybe I won't get all the adverse effects , I'll be spared the stinking becayde I hsve no wrinkles . 23 year old women hsve wrinkjed faces and volume loss post ipl. We hsve the same hideous texture . We all look the same ! I wish I never went there . It's a nightmare I can't wake up from . My life is over , I'm seriously ugly now and I'm traumatized everyday by the new chsnges . I'm made of wax , I don't hsve skin anymore

Do you have before and after photos of the damage? I’m getting BBL and profractional in a few weeks...

I’m so sorry. aged 20 years after infini rf was done for my neck and under my chin. I had a beautiful face, and I payed to destroy it. I now have loose hanging skin, because all my “good fat,” was destroyed! I feel self conscious, I don’t want to go out anymore, I stopped buying nice clothes because what does it matter? I believe plastic surgeons and deems are destroying us t get more money in the long run trying to fix us. They’re playing with peoples lives, and it’s sad. You’re not alone. I miss being pretty.

i feel like these people might've went to not the most certified dermatologist. they probably didn't know what they were doing.
