IPL Treatment: the first procedure was two quick

ORIGINAL POST

IPL Treatment

Hello, I had two different IPL spot treatments to get rid of a broken capillary under my left eye. The first procedure was two quick low level “snaps” from the IPL machine at a local med spa. I responded well and the sun damage/capillary spot turned dark and went away. However, about 2 weeks the first treatment after I used a peel off cbd face mask and had an adverse reaction. There is now a red, irritated pimple like area surrounding a tiny hole/pore around the spot I was treated for the capillary.

I went back to the med spa a few weeks later to get a recommendation on this as the issue had not subsided and she gave me another small spot treatment after stating it looked possibly puss filled/irritated. The second treatment seemed to help but the initial red spot remains. The area seems to blanch when pressure is applied, with inflammation around the pore still visible.

Is there any recommendations, should I leave it alone for now to heal? Not sure what to put on the spot at this point

Just leave it alone..post IPL, the skin scabs off and makes appear the unseen acne and puss previously unseen. So dont worry.IPL works .
Don't use ANY products for at least 3 weeks after an IPL treatment including retinol or any products other than a gentle, moisturizing cleanser, moisturizer (CeraVe), and sunscreen. A little makeup is okay too.
