Got my IPL Today!!

I have never done it before, but decided it was time to try something new lol .....For over a decade, I was living wildly, doing many things outdoors, and sometimes just not taking care of my skin like I should. I think it was about time I FINALLY do something about the large pores, dark spots, fine lines, etc etc. .... I brought my own numbing creams (2 of them), but she told me that it won't be needed and I didn't totally believe her, but she convinced me somehow (probably by saying she can adjust the strength of laser). She started with a lower frequency and then raised it to a higher one. A few spots like 3 kinda hurt. It zapped over a thin surface over the bone and it hurt, but other than that, it didn't completely hurt. She put some cooling gel while she was doing it and asked where I wanted the treatments specifically. She just went over my face a few times and that was it. About 4 hours later (now), my face is reddening up a little bit, but since she used low to medium frequency, I don't I will be getting totally red. I made another appointment for a month later. It cost less than a hundred and I threw in a tip. Afterwards, I went and got a haircut and she did a really good job! Today was a good day as far as that goes.
