IPL Caused Nerve Damage and Fat Loss

I had 2 IPL sessions to treat my MGD by an ophthalmologist, (the assumption being destroying the superficial blood vessels that feed the inflammation will help reduce the inflammation, and the heat to help with the oil production and liquefying in the glands) the second treatment resulted in a 3 month long swelling that has finally subsided fairly recently, I am however left from day 1 with pain, burning sensations, skin pulling sensation, intense sensitivity to touch, tingling, sudden bursts of warmth in specific areas and after having the swelling subside what appears to be fat loss/volume loss.
My facial shape has changed, my temples seem
To be the most effected and my cheeks are practically flat now.
I read the reviews yet decided to go through with it anyways under the assumption that there are side effects to everything.
Do not do it, the nerve pain can last up until 2 years and so is the time For my skin barrier to heal.
I am 4 months out and I still can’t sleep on the left side of my face because for a strange reason that makes the right side of my face feel like there’s an elephant sitting on it.
I am 25.

I was damaged 3,5 years ago from one IPL Nordlys treatment (facial) and have severe fat loss all over my face, scarring, indents, pain in my face and eyes, hypersensitive, dry and inflamed skin. Damages seems to have gone systemic because my scalp is also very soar and dry. There is something called Thermal Bystander Effect, the heat shock send signal to healthy cells to close down and die.
People are not aware of how much damage these heat / energy devices are and unfortunately more and more people get damages every day :(
