IPL Burn or Normal?

Is this a ipl burn? I’m not really in Any discomfort. Had some itching that’s not almost completely resolved. The reddish speckled areas in the picture are slightly raised and very rough feeling. How long will this take to heal?

Hi, yes totally normal looking. Thats what mine has looked like a few times I have had it done. I use Aloe Vera to cool it down.
Wow!! I had Ipl done on my face twice, two months apart with MicroDermabrasion between and my face was only slightly red for one hour after. My technician also put on prescription moisturizing Spf so I wouldn't get sunburned ( it was done in a Canadian March). Perhaps you got sun exposure after your treatment? How well did it heal?
