I was under the impression that invisalign was...
I was under the impression that invisalign was invisable... not the case. I had to have huge bumps glued to my teeth, and you can see gaps between my teeth and the aligner. My treatment started with 17 aligners. After i went through all those, i had to get what they call "refinements" which are basically more aligners because the first ones didn't work. I told my dentist that something isn't right about my refinements.... they just don't fit right. I told him that I want new impressions done so that I can get another set of refinements, and he told me that you only get 1 refinement before you get charged more money.Now that I am 14 months in (when my treatment was supposed to take 8 months), my teeth are still not straight. I wish I would have gotten regular braces and saved myself time and money, since metal braces are much less expensive.
