Tray 6 of 18 refinements
It’s been a long time since I posted. In October I finished all 29 trays and began the 18 refinement trays. I’m on tray 6 and now seeing very slow change but am noticing that my teeth all touch much better now. I have had lots of IPR to start working on closing my black triangles. They will not be completely closed when finished but much better. I plan to get some bonding to help after finished with treatment. When finished, my teeth will be evened out at the bottom. I’ve noticed a HUGE improvement. My caved in teeth have been moved outward and mostly straightened. I still have some overlapping on top but that is slowly improving with each tray. I should be finished with refinement by end of February and then rescan to see if more refinements are needed until my teeth are near perfect. I have not had any issues with treatment except black triangles which I was told would occur. Im very glad that I’m taking this journey.
Tray 18 of 29
I’m starting to see some good results now. I should be finished with the 29 trays by middle of October and like everyone lose will probably start refinements. I’m not having ANY issues other than my bite is off some so is difficult to chew meat. At tray 13 my Ortho said I could change trays every 10 days. So treatment is moving much faster. From looking at my clincheck videos it looks like my top teeth don’t move anymore until tray 27 when all my teeth are moved inward. Sure hope this will close some of those dark triangles that have appeared with treatment. That is the only complaint I have. Anyone else have this issue? After next visit August 15 I will be changing trays every 7 days. Hurray.
Tray 13 of 29
I’m beginning to see big changes and so excited that I now get to change trays every 10 days. I have no pain or discomfort except occasionally the first day of a new tray I feel roughness on my bottom lip. I use wax for a day or two and then it feels fine. Occasionally I eat lunch, rinse my mouth out and put my trays back in. It sure is hard to get trays clean that evening and I know it must not be good for my teeth. I don’t have a problem keeping my trays in 22 hrs a day because it’s uncomfortable when the attachments rub on inside my mouth. I’m going on vacation for a week next month. Not looking forward to the brushing hassle. No one ever mentions my trays and I have no lisp. I highly recommend Invisalign. I started Jan. 1 and should be finished with 29 trays around mid November if no refinements are needed. So excited. So many people have to have refinements so I’m mentally preparing myself. I’d love to hear moments from others progress.
