Don't Do It...

It's a good thing I'm retired now. I would not have been able to do this while working because I had to talk on the radio. I was an air traffic controller. This aligner definitely affects your speech. There are certain words that cannot be pronounced correctly. These bumps they put on your teeth are a real pain! I really wish I had given it more thought before doing this. I have a space as you can see and I need implants at some point on bottom teeth but my teeth are not that bad. After eating you'll want to clean your teeth and put the aligners back in as soon as possible because the bumps tear up the inside of your mouth. You have to clean the plastic aligners also. The stuff they give you to clean leaves a "bleachy" aftertaste. This is definitely not fun. I asked about stopping it. They said it will be worth it. I sure hope so. I am hating this everyday.
