Hey' I went to Istanbul Turkey and has Sursigil Permalip on both bottom and top lip, in June 16th 2015. I have had my bottom implant completely moved from the pocket to back of my inner lip, very uncomfortable and feels like almost ripping out of skin.

I live on the Gold Coast, Australia and I am trying to find any surgeon that will replace the implant in, please help, I won't be able to travel overseas outside of Australia till end of next year.

Is this unusual for this to happen? You need to go back ASAP. I've never heard of this. Please share with us how this could have happened. It's terrible for you?

I don't know of a surgeon, but you need to go on computer or to Real Self and they'll help you.

I went to the plastic surgeon. I got so mixed up with all this talk of plastic surgery. He was very kind. He said my lips were already full and sexy. He could have made some money
but he was right. I got so confused with everyone doing everything. Did you get help yet. Please tell us your alright. That is a strange outcome, but you'll get it fixed. don't you worry, Don't go back to him. I know you won't because of the distance.

I'm at 6 months and my implants have settled to the back as well. I asked him for bigger ones but I already have the largest, unless anyone knows of an implant larger than a 5. I don't think your lips look small at all at 6 months.

I live on the Gold Coast, willing to travel, is there any Australian plastic/cosmetic surgeon who can remove my bottom existing lip implants (Surgisil Permalip) as has migrated from pocket and replace new implant?

Get it done definitely recommended for long term in saving money and pain.

I had mine done in September 2015. It has been somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster ride. Not the huge pout I envisioned myself having. I am glad I got them because I could not imagine my lips thinner since they just look normal to me now. My only gripe is that my right side is slightly more elevated than my left side so I can slightly see it lifted on the right corner. It also has a square-ish bend to it when I open my mouth and let my bottom lip hang. Luckily it's not an expression I make unless I'm staring at myself in the mirror so I doubt anyone can see what I'm focusing on. I still have filler put into my lips for certain spots just to even them out on the bottom and fill the upper out. When they come out with a size 6 I will be changing my upper lip out for that size.

@ Turkeylicious - I would definitely try to see a doctor as soon as possible just so your lip doesn't settle in the wrong place and cause scar tissue. I would assume it would be harder to fix the longer time goes on. You look very pretty with them :)

Removed implants, now I cannot smile! Australia can you help

User Avatar

2 top pictures when I had the Permalip lip implants in for 4 years, after within 2 year after slowing migration occurred, I had done everything from massages to exercises to fillers to stop migration. Surgeons removed the implant from outside my cheek, with skin incision. Bottom was removed as moved towards teeth too. It's been 8 months now, and I cannot smile at all, I cannot open my mouth. I've asked surgeons and they can't help me, please someone help me or led me to someone in Australia.
