5 Weeks Post Op
Everything’s still great and no regret on size! After i picked off the scar tape (that i wasn’t suppose to pick off) i started breaking out in a really itchy rash. The dr said it was most likely from the adhesive on the scar tape. I used coconut oil to get the rest of the scar tape off and have been applying hydrocortisone cream like 6 times a day...it’s still itchy.... but slowly getting better.
I’ve also started my scar treatment my Dr recommends. It’s called Silagen and im supposed to apply it twice a day for 2 months, or until i run out. The research i did on the product showed amazing results so I’m hoping it was a good investment!! I’m taking pictures to document.
Other than that life is back to normal! I hope to get back into the gym soon, since I’ve been cleared by the doctor! I will say I’m a little nervous, not sure why, but i think that’s why i keep putting it off..

Everything’s still going great! I think i have a little Mondors cord going on so I’ll ask my dr next week at my 1 month post op, but it doesn’t bother me, i just see it when i raise my arms.
I also picked at my scar tape (....that i wasn’t suppose to pick at...) but i really wanted to see what my incisions looked like!!

Looking good! Was the scar tape put on by your PS? I only had tape over my incisions for two weeks and now I am using a scar gel and Scar Away tape on my own. I’m worried that I’m not being proactive enough.
Yes, it’s thin and clear, not like the stuff I’ve seen pictures of on here. i already picked it off right where my incisions are. it’s just still on my skin around the area. my dr said not to mess with it for the first month and at my 1 month post op he’ll go over scar treatment. i go Wednesday, so we will see! :)
