Whomever said that this procedure is completely safe for darker skinned individuals is way off. I did everything I have seen recommended, including hydroquinone four weeks before and after treatment. I am diligent about sun protection, and actually hate the sun so don’t really go out in it anyways. Unfortunately I am left with awful hyperpigmentation, all in the shape of rectangular stamps caused by the infini machine. I have had a regular micro needling in the past and this did not happen. I understand that part of the results will be based on the experience of the user. However I did not select somebody who lacked experience. I think people with darker skin need to proceed with caution

I had it done as well about 4 month ago and I'm a darker skin type as well. I had really bad hyperpigmentation as well however, it did go away after 1 1/2 to 2 months! Keep using your hydroquinone and keep out of the sun if possible. All will be well even though it doesn't seem like it but it will!

Btw...you can't compare regular microneedling to infini. It's a whole different animal.

I had the procedure 2 yrs ago because it was advertised & promoted by a plastic surgeon that the procedure was completely safe & everyone would get good results. Well, that’s a hoax! The procedure left horrible permanent scars on my entire face that has only worsened with time. It did not tighten any skin on my face & since the needles are in rows, it made wrinkles on my entire face. I did not have any wrinkles prior to the procedure. I have thick oily skin that sags. The procedure ruined my complexion & now I have multiple horrid wrinkles due to this hoax of a procedure.
