I was referred to Dr Lim after being told by three other specialists that the warts on my eyelid couldn't be removed due to the sensitive skin on the eyelid. One Dr actually told me that he could remove the warts but I would possibly lose the ability to blink. (Lucky I didn't take that option!) When a plastic surgeon recommended Dr Lim could help me by using Laser treatment I booked the appointment. Dr Lim explained that he would be able to remove the warts and also recommended a light fraxel laser treatment over my whole face. He took the time to make me feel at ease and answer all my questions. On the day of the treatment I was really well looked after by Emily, one of the nurses and Dr Lim, the surgery area was comfortable, professional, the treatment itself was relatively painless. I was given clear instructions on how to look after my skin, provided everything I needed as well as the nurse Emily's email and phone number in case I had further queries. I did have one query and Emily replied to the email I sent really quickly. Dr Lim is extremely skilful and the warts on my eyelid are gone, you can't even tell they were ever there. (No problems with blinking :)) The skin around my eyes that had thinned and wrinkled after some really bad episodes of eczema, is looking tighter and so much better. The skin over my entire face has improved so much that I feel really confident, I feel like the best way to describe my skin now is fresh, it is so good. I can't thank Dr Lim enough and I'm really happy with the result.

I'm considering seeing Dr Lim, for upper Bleph and some C02/erbium laser. What type of Co2 did you have or what was the setting used ( if you know) How long was the recovery process? And what did you do post procedure to heal? Was sedation part of the process, What was the cost breakdown for the two procedures you had?. Glad to hear your happy and your warts have been dealt with, you must be over the moon.

Hi Elle13,
I'm not sure what type of C02 Dr Lim used. I know he used a combination to achieve the required result for me. I was nervous in the lead up even though it was something I really wanted. I decided to trust the process, he came highly recommended and Dr Lim's rating on real self backed this up. I only needed one treatment to achieve what I needed and the total price was $2090, I didn't receive a breakdown to clarify this further. (Except some Medicare item numbers)
On the day, a topical anesthetic was used over my entire face and I also had pethadine, obviously required so I didn't open my eyelids. I slept through the procedure but I remember Dr Lim talking to me and felt very minor discomfort for a few seconds around my eyes.
Post laser instructions were clear, I had to cleanse my skin and apply QV intensive cream to keep my skin from drying out. I was on antibiotics as well. I wasn't in any pain when I went home or during the recovery period. Recovery was eight days, after which I could have applied makeup and gone to work if I'd needed to. In my role I have the flexibility to work from home so did so for another two days.
I hope that clarifies, even though I couldn't answer all your questions. I would suggest emailing westside dermatology if you need anything, all the staff are lovely and I'm sure they will seek out the answers for you. Based on my experience you are in good hands with Dr Lim.
Oh and thank you, yes I'm over the moon and just need to organise the photos people are asking for!
