It's now been almost 7 weeks since I had my surgery. I'm down to a size 4 from an 8 in my waist and possibly a size 2. I'm down 3 lbs so far and the dr said that I should be down 10 lbs by the 6 month mark or I've gained weight. My legs are still very large though. I'm a little bit disappointed by the fact that my stomach is so small and my legs are still one to two sizes larger meaning I still need a 6 which is way to big around the waist but fits my thighs. There is still swelling in my legs and my stomach so that doesn't really make me feel any better. I'm hoping that the swelling continues to go down and my thighs will get to the same size as my stomach or I've basically given myself the same situation I had before just in a smaller size. I wanted this surgery so that I could fit in pants again without having to go up a size for my thighs. Not yet accomplished. I was in a bikini last week. No one noticed my scars which really aren't to bad. Measurements currently Under Bust - 30" Waist - 30" Hips - 37" Thighs - 23" Arms - 10"

Day of the surgery:  Actually nothing really hurt that bad until I had to use the restroom. Every time I got up I wanted to die.   I had a scopolomine patch for the nausea as well as injections of nausea medicine every time that I got pain meds.  I really only asked for the meds when I would get up to use the restroom.  My arms didn't hurt much at all.  My legs, stomach, and sides were extremely tender.  I looked so tiny when I got myself in front of the mirror.  I'm super excited.  I didn't feel well enough to worry about pictures. Day 1: Left the surgery center at 9am.  The car ride home was rather uncomfortable as any bumps made my entire body shake.  They stopped my morphine earlier in the night so I was forced to take a vicodin which I don't like before I left.  Started my antibiotics when I got home and pretty much stayed on the couch as long as I could.  I continued to take my prescribed pain meds throughout the day and slept as much as possible.  Day 2: Friday wasn't to bad although the swelling has set in and I don't look as small as I did before.   I have been taking ibuprofen since day 1 now instead of the ultram I was prescribed.  The pain is mostly in my stomach and sides now.  Legs and arms are not bad at all.  I have been sleeping on the couch so that I don't bother my boyfriend.  Trying to sleep as much as I can which is nice.  Still somewhat difficult to find a good position. Had my first follow up appointment today and the nurse said everything looked good.  I have very minimal bruising.  I am taking the arnica tablets.  Day 5:  Still really sore in my center section.  Bending over is not happening yet.  My pubis region is extremely swollen and painful and gets progressively worse the longer I stand.  Not cool.  I am hating this compression garment and trying to go to the bathroom in it.  But I know it's going to help me in the long run.  I have canker sores all over my tongue and throat as of this weekend.  Apparently the trauma of the surgery can cause this.  I'm prone to canker sores anyways.  The nurse had to write me a prescription to get rid of them.  It's been difficult to eat and drink stuff.  I have started massaging the arnica gel into my skin where the procedure was done.  Second appointment today and all looks well.   Day 6: First day back to work.  Not going to bad so far.  Pubis region still swollen and uncomfortable which doesn't allow me to bend over well.  Legs get sore after sitting for any period of time.  Still on ibuprofen.  Tongue has started to clear up.   Really hoping to see results soon!!

I'm 30 years old, 5'3, 144 lbs. I am having my upper and lower stomach, flanks, hips, inner and outer thighs, knees, and arms done. Current Measurements are:
Under bust 31"
Waist 33"
hips 38"
Thighs 25 left-25 right
Arms 11.5 left -12 right
Knees 18.5 left-19 right
Bra size 34D - natural I never had a problem working out and keeping my weight down in college. I have been working full time 11 hours a day for 4-5 days a week for the last 7 years. This has not left me with much energy to work out. I started up my workouts again in October of last year and have lost all of 5 lbs with my thighs continuing to increase in size. I just started Insanity 2 weeks ago and my thighs grew another .5" in a week. I'm over it! It's time to get rid of these monster thighs of mine. I went into the doctor asking for Smart Lipo which is all the craze right now. He said that we would be better off doing Tumescent Lipo instead. He explained that with the amount that we needed to take out, it would take way too long with smart lipo. My skin elasticity was still very good and wouldn't require a laser to help it bounce back. So the procedure is scheduled for April 21st. We are going to do tumescent lipo under general anesthesia. I am having my upper and lower stomach, flanks, hips, inner and outer thighs, knees, and arms done. I met with the nurse and had my pictures taken this week. The nurse spent over an hour with us explaining what will take place and how I will feel afterwards. What is cool about this place is that they include a 24 hour stay in the quote so that someone else is there to monitor you. That is included in my cost of $8775 as well as the anesthesia, the garment, the lab work, and $6000 for the lipo itself. I think it is a great price for everything that I'm getting done as well as a 24 hour stay with an emergency nurse. I had gotten another quote in town who wanted $18,000 to do the same procedures but with Smart Lipo which I thought was supposed to be a cheaper procedure. Obviously I decided against going with him. So I'm very excited. I've got my blood tests done and need to go pick up my meds before surgery. I've got Arnica coming so that I can start it a couple days before. Wish me luck! I will upload photos soon.

He fully explained the procedure. His staff is very friendly and informative. The person that will be my nurse gave us her cell phone number in case we need anything after spending an hour telling us about how the procedure will be for me and how my body will change over the next few weeks and what to expect. She made sure my boyfriend knew everything he needed to for taking care of me when I come home. The price is great!
