update 6 month or so post op PRP Micro needling pen and Punch Excissions Subscissions Photo Facials Dot Lazer Hydra Facials Peels Im frustrated but I do understand it is a process meeting with my Doctor next Week to discuss where to go from here Milia acne is severe and some of the Ice pick scars are really deep:( Any advice would help I am so ready just to give up I have been battling this for 20 years I have tried just about everything

So I will be posting pics soon Update on my skin It does look better but I still have a long way to go The milia Acne is still a battle and I only have a few really deep scars left the tone of my skin is good and even and not red and blotchy as it was in the past I feel the Photo facials helped with that as well as y cystic acne however I do once inawhile get a cyste but to no degree as before The antibiotics Itake I know play a part in that The filler does help a allot with all the collagen Ive lost I took a few Months off Ive been having procedures consistently for the past two years So I am do back to See my Doctor to decide what the next step is:)

Hi I had bad acne when I was 17-20. I was put on numerous bouts of accutane. It it help but was left with mild acne scarring. I then waited until I was 27 and had co2 laser on one cheak and made more and more scars. I then waited for few more years and tried pixel lasers which did no help. But I don't get acne anymore and still get acne scars every now and then for some strange reason. I'm absolutely depressed. Self concious etc. I'm now trying to get facials to make me feel better and maybe try microdermabrasions . I can't make my skin any worse.

What kind of Scars do you Have? Rolling scars? Ice Pick Scars? Depending on what kind of scars your acne caused, Lazer alone may not help.. Curious to know. Remember it is a continuous maintenance and no magical procedure I wish there was I feel your pain.. I have had a ton of different procedures let me know what kind of scars you have I might be able to give you some advice and save you some Money:)

Andrew I have an almost identical story, except I have had 5 pixel laser treatments in 2008 which initially I thought worked somewhat, but now at least to me, my skin looks more bumpy than ever. I can't stand to look at my reflection, I avoid pictures, even with my children, because I can't stand to see myself. I don't know where to go or what to try next...

I'm really depressed. My life will never be the same again. I'm getting regular facials spaced 2 weeks at time. Fillers may work for rolling scars

Guys I know how you feel and thousands more as well. I know what its like to avoid mirrors or hharsh lighting. its a frustration that cant be put in words really. Only those who go through it know. I rremember praying for my cystic acne to subside only to face the nightmare of dealing witg the damage left behind: the scarring. All i can say is that a good dermatologist and lots of love from friends and family got me back on track. Im not so hard on myself anymore. I can feel confident and dare I say pretty sometimes. In the end, your worth doesnt depend on how clear or smooth your face is. After you know tthat, the rest is easier to take on . Technology is taking off and now there are so many options, theres hope. But in my case, tthere's the lack of money (sniff sniff). So im saving up whilst not givng up hope. All the best to you all

Try Filler and PRP Micro needling If your scrars are deep then some punch excissions might need to be done first Its a long road so be patient My Doctor tels me it took my face a long time to get this way and one procedure is not going to correct it so its a process Best advice i can gve is find a Doctor that will work with you over a period of time and let you alternate procedures until you find one that your skin responds too My Doctor Offic ehas what they cal the Acne Club which allows me to have two procedures a Month for a affordable fee
