I am so happy to hear someone had surgery 4 months after birth. Was is a c section? I also had my son 4 months ago and want to have a tummy tuck but they said it would be better to have panniculectomy. Although you are for months post op they were willing to do a tummy tuck?

Yep n yes I had a c section

A pani is good if you don't need MR which is sounds like you don't. There are so many complications with the MR. Lots of gastric problems. My PS won't do them at all because of the problems. The skin only is a dramatic result and worth it. I had a mini with long scar and love it! Good luck to you. Also, if you have more babies you won't have to worry about your MR but your skin will be tight and bounce back.

I think it would depend on the doctor. I went to mine to see about fixing my hernia I had developed a few weeks after my son was born and he told me right away I need a tummy tuck and that was on a thursday. I was in surgery tuesday. 5 months post partum. This was also my 4th and final child. I also had 4 c sections

Hey girls! I have two drains at my lower hip one of each side n a pain pump I think them alone is what's causing most of my discomfort I am taking 1000mlg of percoset every 4hrs on the dot as I do not like pain! This pic ain't much but I can't stand up straight yet n he cut me wayyyy almost to my back lol didn't think he would go that far back! But so far very happy with it but veryyyy swollen I keep ice packs on n it helps a lot as soon as I can stand up straight I will post pics!! ????????????????

Is it ok to put ice on? I thought it wasn't. I used a heating pad. I thought ice would damage tissue. Just wondering.
July 14, 2016
Ice is great they gave me ice packs in the hospital when I woke up they had two on me I left with 5 I keep one on each side and one in the middle! Truly a life saver feels so much better with ice I couldn't imagine putting heat on me its hot already jus from all the cutting n damage love my ice but if ur concerned I'd definitely ask ur doc 1st

You can always have the pain pump removed. I didn't find it necessary since you're fully capable of taking a pill w/ water.

Did your doctor make you wear a binder? Mine has me wearing one for 6 weeks straight. I had a single drain and it was the most biggest pain! I eon't know how you are doing it with two.I had a lot of issue with pain too. Its still pretty painful at times. My doc had me taking 10/325 but I asked for something lighter because it ws making me so sick. Can you imagine throwing up one day post op? Yeah it was pretty horrid! I cried like a baby, no shame here.
July 20, 2016
Lol no he actually said I didn't have to in the hospital damn binder was hurting nurses told me keep it on n as soon as doc came in I told him felt better without it n he said that I didn't need it if it didn't help nurses were shocked! I wear it when I leave the house tho! Yea I threw up 3 days post op was terrible I throw up often but not cut in half lol

Same! I wear mine out and to bed because i like to sleep on my side. I slept in a recliner for 2 1/2 weeks. I was sooooo over that! Mine was actually done as out patient, believe it or not. I was in surgery for 4 hrs and it was around 11 pm when i woke and got to my recovery room. Doc asked me if i wanted to stay, i said no way! I was out of that bed within an hour, i wanted to go home! They had me in ICU ( just because it took me longer to wake than it was suppose to, is what i was told?!) irroniclly, the ICU room was the SAME room i was in for two weeks after my c-section due to high blood pressure and blood loss. Yup! I wasnt staying in that room, nope!

If you're not on too much pain killer maybe let your baby sleep with you or at least in the same room. It's early and you will get better each day and more capable.
July 15, 2016
She's sleeping in her rocker right next to me I'm in a recliner she only woke up one time last night thankfully and grandma got her so it was OK last night thank goodness! Yes everyday is getting easier
