POSTED UNDER Tummy Tuck Reviews

I'm 32 yo and had 2 c sections. My tummy is ugly and I'm ready for a TT - Indianapolis, IN

I'm 1 yr post op and still happy I had the TT. I've gained a little weight which now goes to my arms and back where it used to go to my tummy first. I'm overall happy but my stomach is not flat and has some weird contouring that I want to have fixed. Dr. VanNatta will be charging for revision so I'm putting it off for now. It's nice not having a bulging belly but I still have some loose skin below my belly button which makes me crazy :(. I think he wasn't quite aggressive enough with the pull down---but I also had a lot of fat lipoed so maybe he couldn't. My advice is to be at your best weigh before having TT

I had a TT with MR and lip on outer & inner thighs, flanks and abdomen on 10/15/14. I absolutely love Dr. Van Natta. When I met with him for consultation he made me feel completely comfortable. He is candid and let me know what area he thought needed attention without being pushy or making me feel badly. He suggested some lipo on out thighs because once my stomach was smaller this area would be more noticeable.. He was right! His office demeanor is fun, friendly and genuinely caring. I know his OR manner is the same! I have very little bruising and its obvious that he took his time to make sure I was in the best condition post operatively. During my follow-up he assured me once again that if I was not happy with some areas that he will fix them by doing some lipo to get rid of any extra fat deposits left behind. I have to pay for the surgery room which is $1,000 and doesn't make me happy but overall it's a good outcome. I would recommend him to anyone especially those who are having cosmetic surgery for the first time. He made me feel like I've known him for years! The only negative I have is that I felt like I didn't get a lot of aftercare instruction ... I'm sure this is because he is very confident that his patients will recover quickly and easily. Dr. Van Natta uses Exparel which made my recovery a breeze compared to some other women I know who have had this surgery. Again, just another way he goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are comfortable, and are able to get back to life as quickly as possible with fantastic results.

4 weeks PO TT, Lipo and MR

Here are some 3 & 4 weeks PO photos. I'm much smaller than pre-op but still very swollen. I have a large area near incision that is bulged out (which I hate) but I'm trying to be patient. I also have some fluid above my BB that I'm hoping will go away soon.

I am scheduled with Dr. Van Natta in March. I wanted to see how you were doing and if you have any suggestions for me. I am also having a TT with lipo. I will be 42 this year and have wanted this for 17 1/2 years. My first stretched the heck out of me and I've never been the same. I am beyond excited but worried about all the reviews I read about the pain post lipo. Hope you are doing well.
Hi Lilnicki! Yaa for you and your upcoming TT! It can be absolutely nerve racking leading up to it. I am now 3 mos PO and overall happy I did it and the pain is like childbirth in that it's awful but forgettable. I'm having some concerns w area of my TT and Dr V and I discussed revision yesterday. I wi say that I was discouraged bc my revision of 3 areas is going to cost me $1125!!! He doesn't charge but this is the fee for the surgery room for 1 hour! I don't know what you look like but my biggest advice is to make sure your at your ideal weight before you do it. I feel like my results are not ideal bc I had so much fat removed which meant less stretchy skin to pull down. I have a small very vertical incision bc my skin wasn't loose enough to pull my old BB down into incision. The good news is Dr V puts ur incision very low! Lipo definitely caused more pain than the TT bc I got Exparel. Where are you having the Lipo done?
