Well I am a little bit over two weeks away from my surgery and I am super excited. I have been checking out this blog for months now seeing what others have to say and their experiences. It has definitely helped me out. So let me start with my story. I can't say that I have been wanting new breasts for a long time like others. I was an A cup for a long time and I was actually happy with it as my breasts were perky. As I got older though and my metabolism stopped I started to gain weight. For the past 10 years or so have been up and down with my weight. Now that I am 39 I am trying my hardest to get into the best shape I can get. I have so far lost about 36lbs and was hoping by the time I got back home in May that I would have lost about 14 more pounds. With all of the weight gain and loss my breasts have definitely taken a toll. I absolutely hate them now and will have to get a lift with the BA.

So my dilemma now is how big to go. I am short about 5'0 around 144, Victoria secret says I am a 34D, but no means a full D. I was shocked when she even suggested it and was even more shocked that the bra fit. I know I am going for silicone implants, but again not sure about the cc's. Does anyone have any suggestions? I go and see the Dr on the 22nd and have the surgery on the 23rd. Oh did I mention I am currently working overseas and will be home for the surgery. So that is why I haven't see the Dr face to face. I have talked to him via Skype and sent the pictures of me to his nurse. I would just like to hear what others have to say as well. I will add pictures in a couple of days of where I am now.

Thank you for starting you journey on RealSelf! From what I have read, a lift can possibly reduce the size of your breasts due to the removal of tissue, so an average sized implant will most likely keep you at D, but a perky D that fills out your bra. However, your PS knows best. Based on what he's seen via photos, has he suggested an implant size? You may want to send him pictures of your wish boobs so he knows the look you are seeking. Here is list of questions to ask your PS. Keep us posted!

Thank you for responding to me. I see my surgeon on the 22nd of this month so at that point will discuss size when he can see me in person. I have an idea of what I want just not sure for my body size if it will work or not. I definitely want to be a full size C or even a small D. Thank you for the list of questions too.

Yesterday was the big day

Yesterday was the big day and I had my surgery. I don't really remember much though. I was sore afterwards even on the meds they gave me, but not too bad. Having to get up and go the bathroom was challenging though. My left breast does hurt more then my right when I try to get up. The pain in general isn't too bad. I haven't seen them yet though when I take my shower I will be able to check them out. I ended up getting the silicon 475cc's. I am hoping they are big enough I had 2nd thoughts on what I picked first which was 450cc ,but when I talked to the Dr he told me he was giving me 475cc. I can't wait to see them though. :) I will add pictures later on today when I can see them.

I also had lipo done in my thighs and stomach but pain is very minimal thank goodness for that.

I took some pictures for everyone to see. It has been rough the past few days. Having more then surgery was rough to deal with and seems to take a lot out of me, but I am chugging away. Each day is little bit better. I am slowly trying to ween myself off of the pain meds and use them as I need them. I don't want to sleep all day long. I think the worst part for me is the shortness of breath. You can see from the pictures the left side looks a little bit better then the right side.

Hi there! I think the size looks great! They will only get better and better. Once the swelling goes down & you can start to see what they'll really look like, is a great day! I had a BL/BA on April 26th & couldn't be happier! Congratulations! You'll love 'em!
