I am 54 yrs young. I had a total face rejuvenation including a brow lift, upper and lower lids, face lift, neck lift and chin implant and DOT laser resurfacing 18 months ago. I am super happy with the natural results. Dr Chernoff refreshed my tired look and took ten years off. The elasticity of my skin is fair due to aging and a lifetime living on the sea and in the sun. As the facial rejuvenation has settled in there were a few areas I felt could use some added volume. I was undergoing a lipo procedure with Dr Chernoff and he suggested that the fat harvested during lipo could be used for FT to voluminize the areas I was concerned about. To be honest I had not researched the subject, nor considered a FT. The fat harvested during the lip procedure was reserved and I made up mind to proceed as suggested. The procedure was performed in office. Dr Chernoff gave me another ten years, it is amazing what a difference the FT has made. His meticulous and judicious application of just the right amount of fat in various places on my face has refreshed the whole look. The pain during the numbing and FT was totally bearable, the swelling was minor and no bruising to speak of. The effect is smooth. I am 3 days post FT and all is well. After the FT settles and builds its new blood supply; in about 6 months we will meet up and assess where further FT is desired and maybe one more time after that. I like that it is my own fat and not some chemical composition and at the results will be long lasting. Dr Chernoff is an artist at his craft, is willing to advise against a requested procedure and be honest about expected outcomes.
