Dr. Eppley performed Jaw Angle Implant surgery for...

Dr. Eppley performed Jaw Angle Implant surgery for me in January of this year, and I am extremely happy with the result. His pre-operation consultations were informative and helped to set the right expectations, he recommended a conservative (3.5mm wide) implant on each side to achieve the desired "strengthening" effect without looking overdone, the surgery was done flawlessly, and the recovery time was short, exactly as he described. I can't think of anything he could have done better. And his price was right for me -- other surgeons in Los Angeles were asking more than double for the same operation.

Dr. Eppley was very knowledgeable and professional. He gave me the information I needed, and gave me a conservative recommendation and set my expectations appropriately. His nurse, Lora, and he anesthesiologist also did their parts flawlessly. I was completely happy with how I was treated, and completely happy with the result. I'm giving 5 stars on every sub-category because it is deserved - there was nothing to complain about at any stage. Just for context, I can say that immediately after the operation, I was concerned about an unexpected muscle swelling at the back of my jaw (not just generalized fluid swelling on the sides, which I was expecting), and I asked Dr. Eppley for an extra follow-up appointment to look at it the next day. He accepted the extra appointment (his assistant had to squeeze me onto his schedule), looked at it, and assured me it was normal (a natural consequence of lifting up the jaw muscles to create the pockets for the implants) and would subside along with the generalized swelling over the next several weeks. I will admit to feeling concerned at the time, but he was right -- the muscle swelling did go away over the next two weeks, as he said it would, and the result is great. So... Nothing to complain about, 5 stars on all counts, well deserved!
