WORTH IT$4,000
I got my mentor silicone implants August of 2015 and one month later my body started aching almost as if I have the flu but the flu never comes. Constant body aches it never go away fatigue and strange symptoms relating to my period time (I'm guessing there has been a change to my hormones) because my periods are different it's cloudy and not solid fluid like it used to be before I got my implants also my body aches increase around menstral time. So, 19 months in and it's not getting any better it's only getting worse I have visited the doctor in Georgia a doctor in Ohio and I spoke to the doctor in Texas via phone. I have a been on this community for a long time and if you read the reviews you'll soon see which doctors those are the only explant they did not put in implants they are by far experts in this field. The doctor in Ohio said I need to full sac Removed $8,000 for surgery! The doctor in Georgia also thought the same thing (she was a strange one .... I didn't even talk about pricing with her) I talked to a doctor in Texas he was so very nice he suggested I get the implants removed and that if I can have the doctor take out partial portion of the sad that's totally fine my symptoms were is it's mostly the implants that's causing the problem. The muscle will be fine I don't need to have it necessarily reattached it'll heal on its own. I'm trusting him because he's done several thousand over the last 20 years he's very familiar with how the body heals and the success rate with patients not removing the sack surrounding the implant.
I will send updates as I move through the process and pictures thank you so much to everyone who was previously posted before me!

You're definitely not alone in feeling that way. I've read that unless you have had capsular contracture where it leaks silicone, you don't need the capsules removed. I've had my implants for 1 year and they're coming out in 3 days. I'm not having any capsules removed since I've had no problems with the implants themselves physically. The natural capsule my body created around it will re absorb it. So will yours, don't worry. We're almost free! :)

Hi Sick of being sick! I was in the same boat and explanted just last week. I wish I had done it years ago. I had my breast implants for 17 years. I cannot begin to tell you how sick I had become before having them removed, and how much improvement I have had since having them removed. I'm going in next week for blood tests for my thyroid. I developed Hashimoto's disease after getting the implants, and my TSH levels have not been controllable with medication. The numbers have continuously increased. Before the explant, my TSH levels were over 100. I sincerely believe I will see the numbers decreasing over time now that I've removed the implants. Meanwhile, I have had a number of wonderful improvements since explanting A WEEK AGO - regained sense of smell, stopped snoring, sleep better, urinate less frequently, vertigo gone, neck/shoulder/back pain and burning are gone, night sweats gone, growing hair on my legs for the first time in years, scalp hair has stopped falling out by the handfuls, body aches gone, no strep throat or feeling of strep throat in the last week, joint aches much better - still improving, awake in the morning feeling refreshed instead of drugged and exhausted, and more. Not to mention all the cute bra options at a 34 B - as opposed to a 34 DD. I'm so happy for you that you are getting to the bottom of your issues. Pain is different for everyone, and I can only speak for myself, but I did not experience any real pain - just some discomfort on the day after. And although it has been only a week, and they are rather droopy since explant, I think my breasts are healing wonderfully and looking quite lovely. I'll create a posting with pics once I get the results from my blood tests so I can post that at the same time. Wishing you all the best with your explant and healing!

Seriously... thank you for sharing your story! It truly gives me hope .. I feel like I'm 80 years old ! I'm really not even half that:) I am so glad you see improvement in only a week! I am ready to wake up and feel refreshed.. it really has been a quick turn around fir you! That's amazing! I am praying for this fir me. I hear it takes a full year until the breasts fluff back to wha they will be indefinitely. Oh hey! Check out Love my bubbles.com I'm counting on a bit of help after explanation from this company! Lol More updates soon, thanks for writing.

I'm excited for you! You are only about a week-and-a-half away. I haven't had my blood tests, yet - hoping to get them tomorrow, but I swear I feel better and better the more time passes. My husband and I actually went for a little bicycle ride this evening. It's been years - I mean YEARS - since I've had enough energy (or enthusiasm) to get out and ride my bike. Oh! I checked out the Love My Bubbles site. I used to have something like that to put in my bras pre-BA. Funny - I was cleaning out drawers a couple of years ago. They were shoved in the back of a drawer. I pulled them out and threw them away because I had implants - would never need padding, again. ;-) The butt pads would be pretty funny on me. I've had what I call a "bubble-butt" for as long as I can remember - even as a teenager when I barely weighed 90 pounds.

Was just thinking about you, and had to log on for a minute to tell you something while I'm thinking about it. Don't go crazy buying a bunch of bras immediately after your explant. Just get a few - sports and whatever regular bras are comfortable. My breasts keep changing/improving since explant. I cannot now wear the same bras (I mean regular bras - the sports bras are still okay) that I purchased immediately after explant. The cups don't fit - breasts are now spilling over at the middle/center/cleavage part. I know we're all different, and this may not be experienced by everyone. If you end up having this same experience, though, I don't want you to end up with a bunch of bras you can't wear after a couple of weeks or so.

For some reason around my period time my body aches get worse! Man I'm having a hard time the last few days ... only one week to go! I'm m ready to have more energy, no body aches, no random breast lumps or fatigue! One more thing .. my nails have ridges in them now vertical ridges! This is a new symptom. Visit: two sites one www.healingimplantillness.com and www.lovemybubbles.com. I can tell you after spending nearly 8,000 after implant and explanation I will have no shame adding a little extra lift to my wardrobe! Who cares if the silicone is outside... lol MORE UPDATES TO COME!

Capsule out or not?

User Avatar
Sick of being sick
I have my surgery Schuled to get implants out without capsule out because I had immediate reaction to my implants. It took my body to produce body aches, hormone issues etc literally one month after implant. It makes me think I am reacting to the foreign object more than all the talk about toxic this no that. I am thinking because they have been in for only 19 months I have a good chance that if the implants are taken out my symptoms will soon go away ..... it's a risk! I know :( Dr melmend in Texas said I will feel much better, I don't need the capsule removed .... I pray he is correct!

Any advice from someone who kept capsule and feels better? Please reply :)
